Reflective statement My focus for FIA2 was the use of light and the ways it can manipulate our eyes. I used a series of lenses for my experiments including photography, stop motion videos, charcoal, clay and watercolour paints. Light is the personal context. Light manipulation is responsible for everything we vision. I find the way light is able to reflect off things, such as the glass that I used in my experiments, Mesmerising. I have been influenced by Danish artist, Olafur Eliason. Light is the centrepiece of his large installation art. He was inspired me to create my series of experiments exploring light and reflection.
