FIA2 art as lens
Reflective statement • My focus for my folio were stamps. These stamps were collected by me when I was 5 years old and have kept them safely ever since. I explored the series of stamps through different lenses investigated in class. Using techniques such as divergent thinking, digital manipulation, clay, drawing, coloring, I have created 3 experimental works, using the inquiry learning model to guide me. • The stamp has been used in a personal context because i share a personal connection to it. I used to wait at the door every Monday when the post man would deliver letters, when he would arrive, I would run outside, get all the mail, rip all the pretty stamps off, and then give the mail to my parents. Keeping a box in my room, I kept on putting more and more stamps over the years, and always have them in my room, even 11 years later.
