We look forward to welcoming our College community onsite this Saturday 27 May 2023 for our 20th Anniversary Celebration Event, featuring our College Rock Bands, Hip Hop troupes, food trucks, children’s entertainment and a special laser show finale!
Here are some important points to know:
There will be NO PARKING available onsite at MBBC unless you have been granted a parking permit. Instead, you may park in surrounding streets, or at MBC and utilise the Park and Ride Service running every 15 minutes between the MBC primary pick-up/drop-off zone and MBBC. This service runs from 3:45pm to 7:30-pm. Under-carriage storage available for large bags, picnic chairs, etc. Please email community@mbbc.qld.edu.au if you require special assistance parking.
BYO Picnic rug, camp chairs and nibbles. NO BYO alcohol as the P&F will be selling drinks at the Bar.
Strictly NO glass.
There will be free facepainting and inflatables for the children at the Kids Zone, however parents will be responsible for supervising their own children for the duration of the event.
The MBBC P&F Association will be running a bar. Please visit the wristband tent before approaching the bar. You will not be served unless you a wearing a wristband.
The P&F will also be selling some limited edition 20 Year Merchandise, a hot or cold keep cup for $15 and drink cooler for $10.
No cash will be accepted, strictly EFTPOS only.
The event will conclude with a laser show finale at approximately 6.45pm. This contains flashing strobe lights and smoke machines. Please keep this in mind if you are sensitive to light or smoke.
A photographer will be present taking photos for marketing purposes. Please advise them if you do not wish to be photographed.
We have created some picnic zones to assist with finding year level groups that may like to meet up. Refer to the event map for these recommendations.
It is expected to get to seven degrees late Saturday night, so dress accordingly and rug up!
