Fun day at Lake Avenue

First up is Lake Avenue Stores who held a fun day. Unfortunately, they held it on a day of torrential rain but it didn’t stop play and owners, Mash and Arti Odedra, managed to raise £500.

The fun day was a thank you to their customers for all their support, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic and they really went to town with a magician, games, cakes galore and a fantastic tombola.

Mash said “It was difficult for everyone during the pandemic, but the community stuck by us. It was always in our mind to do a thank you event and on the back of that we thought we could raise some money for a local charity. We asked our followers and My WiSH came up trumps.”
