Executive Summary Who are we and what do we do?

The Freeman Foundation is being established to bring hope and a future to young girls that cannot take care of themselves. In order to survive a large number of them must sell their bodies and become open prey for human trafficking.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11 The Freeman Foundation will offer them a safe environment in which to live, and education, a medical clinic, all in an atmosphere of love. We support the development of a new generation of women leaders who, by virtue of their education and service, will lead the charge to transform themselves, their communities, and the larger world around them. This goal adheres to the Freeman Foundation´s principles which encompass the ideals of humanity, compassion, spiritual life and service to others.

01 . Spiritual life:

This principle flows from a basic human right: “We hold

these truths to be selfevident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” - The

The spiritual growth of each girl is extremely important as we look upon each one as a gift from our Creator.

Respect for the inherent dignity of every individual is a fundamental tenet.

03 . Honor:

responsible behavior, coupled with an understanding of and respect for the rights of others is essential for the development of a well rounded life.

04 . Service:

This is who we are… it is about developing a new generation of leaders.

Honor is the foundation upon which the girl's thoughts, actions and interactions are based.

The girls are expected to develop a lifelong commitment regarding service to others.

05 . Compassion:

Every girl is expected to demonstrate compassion for the less privileged, the vulnerable and others in need.

The Expectation Theory holds that your fundamental beliefs about yourself and your world are the principal determinants of your success in life.

Vision We support the development of a new generation of dynamic women leaders. By virtue of the upbringing, modeling and education, this generation will lead the enduring transformation of their communities and country.

Mission We strive to provide a nurturing, loving and educational environment for academically gifted girls who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Freeman Foundation has a standing policy regarding the highest level of transparency regarding our organization. Our records regarding fundraising, development projects, programs, administration cost all are open to responsible critique from any organization or individual.

Working with the United Methodist Church in Monrovia Liberia we have the opportunity to establish 100 acres of land in a prime location with the additional opportunity to acquire hundreds more, all for the primary purpose of “opening the doors of life” for hundreds of young girls.
