Ibiza’s famed multi-sensory dining pop-up Sublimotion, is extending its residency at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, due to popular demand.

After launching in November to instant renown, Sublimotion will remain popped-up until May 4, 2022, before returning to the party island in the Balearics for the summer season.

The concept is the brainchild of Paco Roncero, chef and owner of two-Michelin-starred Paco Roncero Restaurante in Madrid, and creative director, Eduardo Gonzales, of the Vega Factory.

This once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience features 10 whimsical courses, and the new season will bring with it a variety of additions that “transform and delight with every scene and bite”.

The theatrical show includes 360-degree screens with imagery projected onto every surface, from the walls to the table, taking guests on a journey all the way from a sushi bar in Tokyo, to a Jazz Club in New York City, with many suprises along the way.

Every Sublimotion show accommodates 12 diners, so it’s ideal for a special occasion or a client event with ‘wow’ factor. There are two shows daily, at 6.30pm and 9.30pm, but be warned, it does come with a hefty ticket price of AED 5,000 (US$1,361) per seat. sublimotiondubai.com
