Al-Futtaim Trading Enterprises Honda has launched the new, 11th generation Honda Civic in the UAE, a sporty and technologically advanced model of this iconic car, rst introduced 50 years ago. e all-new 2022 Civic boasts a clean, modern design paired with a high-tech, human-centered interior, equipped with advanced graceful fastback-inspired roo ine, elongated hood and clean body lines; and a lot of black, applied to the shark- n antenna, trunk spoiler and door handles and mirrors.
Human-centered interior design e interior design is spacious and uncluttered. Highlights include suede textile with leather combination seats, pulled-back A-pillars, a low hood, at dashboard, and hidden wipers for panoramic views; race-inspired sports pedals; metal honeycomb mesh, creating a dramatic visual dividing line between the audio, information displays and the climate controls;
active and passive safety systems, characteristics that have earned the car the ‘2022 North American Car of the Year’ title.
Next-generation exterior style Exterior design features are stylish and bold and include wide-set LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL); a stylish twin chrome exhaust nisher; new LED taillights; 17-inch alloy gloss-black wheels; a

dual-zone climate controls; a one-touch glass sunroof; rear air conditioning vents; and a wireless charging platform.
Advanced technology For the first time, the Civic features a 10.2-inch digital instrument display and a 9-inch display audio with various smartphone capabilities and an inbuilt app for Satellite Navigation. The touchscreen system features standard integration with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. In the UAE, the display audio features Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). Another notable feature is the Remote Engine Starter, enabling drivers to start the engine from a distance to pre-cool their Civic, which is ideal during the UAE summer.

Advancing safety performance The Honda Civic introduces multiple new active and passive safety systems including Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) to improve protection from vehicles of all sizes; Honda
Lanewatch™; Vehicle Stability AssistTM (VSA®) with traction control; and Rear Seat Reminder, a new safety feature that notifies the driver to check the rear seat when the ignition is turned off.
Honda Sensing® The Honda Sensing® suite of active safety and driver assistive technologies use a new single-camera system, which provides a wider field of view than the previous radar-and-camera based system. It is also capable of more quickly and accurately identifying other vehicles, along with road lines and road signs. Technologies include the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™); Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS); Lane Departure Warning (LDW); Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC); and the Low Speed Follow (LSF) system.

Hilton extends partnership with McLaren Racing giving Honors members access to more F1 experiences
Hilton is getting members of its Honors guest loyalty programme all revved up with news that it has extended its long-standing partnership with McLaren Racing.
It means access to Lando for loyalty, well, kind of, with the 22-year-old, the youngest ever British F1 driver, featuring in many of the online, and occasionally, in-person experiences available to Honors members as part of the tie-up, which was inked in 2005. e McLaren Racing and Hilton joint content programme includes the recent and highly popular ‘Ride to School with Lando’ feature, which became one of McLaren’s top ve most viewed Instagram grid videos with more than two million views. e online lm featured a boy being chau eured into school by Lando Norris a er his dad won the trip via his Hilton Honors membership.
As a McLaren partner, Hilton also plays host to the McLaren F1 team at its hotels in race locations around the world.
In addition, Hilton branding will continue to be carried across McLaren F1 race cars from 2022 onwards.
