Shoreline at Mountain View: Spring/Summer Edition With the days getting longer again, it’s a wonderful time of year to venture out to Shoreline at Mountain View! A picturesque, 750-acre wildlife and recreation area, Shoreline has plenty to offer – open space, outdoor activities, trails, history, food/beverage outlets, rental opportunities, and more.

Kite flying is permitted in the Kite Lot. Get outdoors and get active! For trail user etiquette and additional information regarding the Permanente Creek Trail, Stevens Creek Trail, and San Francisco Bay Trail, please visit MountainView.gov/Trails. Rengstorff House If you are planning a wedding or special event, the rental program at the Rengstorff House is back and better than ever! The outdoor garden areas are a breath of fresh air, especially for those planning group and/or celebratory activities. To inquire about space availability, contact us at 650-903-6088 or visit MountainView.gov/RengstorffHouse. During non-rental times, you may also enjoy the exterior grounds with your friends and family. The historic home is now open to the public on Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Tuesday/Wednesdays 1 – 4 p.m. for docent-led tours, subject to volunteer availability and in accordance with current public health guidelines. Dining and Rental Opportunities The Shoreline Lake American Bistro & Café and Michaels at Shoreline are dining opportunities for those hoping to enjoy a relaxing meal.
