DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
It seems we were just celebrating the holidays, yet here is our 2025 Spring and Summer Activity Guide. Once again, our dedicated Community Services Department staff have curated an incredible selection of classes, camps, programs, and special events for all to enjoy. We can’t wait to welcome you and your family this coming season.
As we finalize this edition, we are delighted to remind the community about the opening of the much-anticipated Magical Bridge Playground at Rengstorff Park. If you haven’t yet explored this all-inclusive playground, we encourage you to bring your family to experience this wonderful community asset.
We are also proud to soon annouce the opening of the Rengstorff Park Aquatic Center. This project is recognized as a model for building a more sustainable public aquatics facility. The facility provides great amenities for the community including locker rooms and comfortable seating throughout the pool deck. Please take a few minutes and look at all the programming offered at both Rengstorff and Eagle this summer. Our trained aquatic staff is ready to provide quality swim lessons and programs while ensuring the safety of our visitors.
Finally, we’d like to highlight some of the fantastic free events we have planned for the spring and summer. The beloved Concerts on the Plaza series returns every Friday from June through September at the Civic Center Plaza in front of City Hall. For our younger audience, KidStock —a music festival for kids—will also take place at Civic Center Plaza. Don’t miss Summer Movie Nights on Friday evenings or special events like Earth and Arbor Day . You’ll find details for all these free activities on pages 88–89 of the guide.
We look forward to seeing you and your families at our events, programs, classes and camps in the months ahead.
