IMAGINATÓN, la sección de producción cinematográfica y audiovisual del Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS, vuelve este año con MUCHOS LUGARES, MUCHAS HISTORIAS, MUCHOS FILMINUTOS y en su décimo segunda edición, vuelve a abrir las puertas a los realizadores de todo el país.

La Maratón de Realización Audiovisual comenzó en 1999, y desde entonces ha puesto a correr por los primeros puestos a más de 10.000 realizadores en varios rincones del país. Durante doce ediciones, Profesionales y Aficionados se han reunido para crear un cortometraje en plano secuencia de 60 segundos en el transcurso de un fin de semana. En las ediciones 15, 16 y 17 del festival, la maratón se tomó Bogotá y cientos de historias fueron creadas en toda la ciudad. Este año, por segunda vez en el marco de esta maravillosa sección, hemos abierto las puertas a la infinita creatividad que hay en todas las regiones de Colombia, gracias a la posibilidad de la participación online.

Sin ninguna limitación creativa, durante el fin de semana del 10 al 12 de diciembre, realizadores de todo el país, podrán salir a las calles o internarse en inexplorados parajes para rodar sus filminutos. En nuestra sede principal CityU en Bogotá, los esperamos para grabar su claqueta, registro oficial del filminuto. Después de esto los participantes deben dirigirse al Teatro La Media Torta para la Noche Frankenstein Vol. 5 en donde revelaremos la clave, la cual debe aparecer en el plano secuencia. A los que no puedan asistir, les enviaremos la claqueta y los esperaremos a través de nuestros canales virtuales para revelarles la clave el 10 de diciembre. Luego podrán empezar a grabar su cortometraje, que debe ser enviado a la organización a más tardar el domingo 12 de diciembre a las 11:59 p.m. Los participantes que entreguen exitosamente sus filminutos (máximo 5 por cada uno), podrán participar por más de 30 millones de pesos en efectivo, y además podrán optar por premios adicionales creando historias acordes a las condiciones establecidas en la categorías patrocinadas por la Comisión Fílmica de Medellín, la Comisión Fílmica de Bogotá y BibloRed. In the 15th, 16th and 17th editions of the festival, the marathon took over Bogotá and hundreds of stories were created throughout the city. This year, within the framework of this wonderful section, we have once again opened the doors to the infinite creativity that exists in all regions of Colombia, thanks to the possibility of online participation.

Without any creative limitation, during the weekend of December 10 to 12, filmmakers from all over the country will be able to take to the streets or go into unexplored places to shoot their films. At our CityU headquarters in Bogotá, we wait for you to record your clapperboard, the official registration of the film, and then head out to Teatro La Media Torta for Noche Frankenstein Vol. 5, during which we will reveal the secret key, which must appear in the sequence shot. To those who cannot attend, we will send them the clapperboard and we will be expecting them on our virtual channels to reveal the key on December 10th. Then they can start recording their short film, which must be sent to the organization no later than Sunday, December 12 at 11:59 p.m. Participants who successfully deliver their films (maximum 5 for each one), may participate for more than 7.000 USD in prizes, and may also opt for additional prizes by creating stories according to the conditions established in the categories sponsored by the Film Commission of Medellín, the Film Commission of Bogotá and BibloRed.
