Cuando Gimi y el pato traído por su padre salen al patio frente al edificio, inmediatamente se convierten en el blanco de tiro de los otros niños que pastan sus pavos. Después de la batalla, el pato herido debe ser sacrificado ante los ojos de Gimi y luego servido directamente del horno para la cena más importante y abundante del año. When Gimi and the duck brought by his father go out to the yard in front of the building, they immediately become the shooting target for the other children grazing their turkeys. After the battle, the injured duck must be sacrificed before Gimi’s eyes and later served directly from the oven for the most important and abundant dinner of the year.

Sokol Keraj Director y magister en estética de cine de la UNATC IL Caragiale, Rumania, con estudios doctorales en Media Studies de la Universidad de Bayreuth, Alemania. Es profesor de cine en el Politécnico Grancolombiano e imparte talleres en la ENACC. Ha escrito y dirigido los cortos ‘Diabolique III’, ‘Fragile’, ‘El último día de Loro Shestani’ y ‘Sábado’. Ha coproducido los cortos ‘Gallo’, ‘Arrendajo’, ‘Bajo la lluvia’, ‘Kristo’, ‘Felipe’ y el largometraje ‘Los Malditos’. Director and master’s degree in Film Aesthetics at UNATC IL Caragiale, Romania. He also has doctoral Media Studies at the Bayreuth University, Germany. He is a film professor at Politécnico Grancolombiano and teaches workshops at ENACC. He has written and directed the shorts ‘Diabolique III’, ‘Fragile’, ‘The Last Day of Loro Shestani’ and ‘Saturday’. He has co-produced the shorts ‘Gallo’, ‘Arrendajo’, ‘Bajo la lluvia’, ‘Kristo’, ‘Felipe’ and the feature film ‘Los Malditos’.

Insatisfecho e infeliz, la vida de Matthew es una rutina monótona después de una tragedia que lo ha dejado caminando solo. Emocionalmente entumecido y siendo un antiguo caparazón de sí mismo, él vive su vida sin enfrentar sus emociones día tras día, cuando una tarde, encuentra un cuerpo ensangrentado e inconsciente en el piso de su casa. En estado de shock, pero sin dudarlo, marca la línea de emergencia. Unfulfilled and unhappy, Matthew’s life is a monotonous routine after a tragedy that has left him walking alone. Emotionally numb and being a former shell of himself, he lives his life without facing his emotions day after day, when one afternoon, he finds a bloody, unconscious body on the floor of his home. In shock, but without hesitation, he dials the emergency line.

Miguel Nieto Montenegro Cineasta colombiano quien recientemente terminó su pregrado en Cine y Televisión, donde encontró una nueva pasión en el cine y su poder ante las audiencias. Recientemente terminó su primer cortometraje y debutó como director con ‘Remembrance’ y ahora trabaja en su próximo proyecto. Colombian filmmaker who recently finished his undergraduate degree in Film and Television, where he found a new passion in cinema and its power towards audiences. He recently finished his first short film and debuted as a director with ‘Remembrance’ and is now working on his next project.

Elsa has arrived in a city which she doesn’t know and where she will have to stay for a few years in order to go to the university. Over time she will have to decide whether what she does today will bring her where she wants to be tomorrow.

Magister en creación y estudios audiovisuales de la Universidad de Antioquia. Interesada en el cine-ensayo, los derechos humanos y el fortalecimiento de la mujer en la dirección de cine. Recibió el premio Caracol Cine del BlFF, un premio en el Taller de Crítica de Cine del FICCI, fue finalista del Horizon Award y en 2019 participó del Talents Buenos Aires. Actualmente, es docente de Narrativa audiovisual Cine en la Universidad de Antioquia. Master in creation and audiovisual studies from Universidad de Antioquia. She is interested in film-essays, human rights and the empowerment of women in film directing. She received the Caracol Cine award at BlFF, an award at FICCI’s Film Critics Workshop, she was a finalist for the Horizon Award and in 2019 she participated in Talents Buenos Aires. Currently, she is a professor of Audiovisual Narrative Cinema at Universidad de Antioquia.

En un futuro cercano, una brigadista encuentra una peligrosa falla sonora dentro de una lavadora y se pierde en ella quedando atrapada sin tiempo. Este corto ocurre en una distopía propuesta por Lucrecia Martel en el que las personas corren el riesgo de perderse en fallas sonoras, si dejan de hablar. Fue creado bajo su asesoría y seleccionado en el largometraje colectivo ‘Fenómenos de Martel’. In the near future, a brigadier finds a dangerous sound fault inside a washing machine and gets lost in it, being trapped without time. This short take place in a dystopia proposed by Lucrecia Martel in which people run the risk of getting lost in sound glitches, if they stop talking. It was created under her advice and selected in the collective feature film ‘Fenómenos de Martel’.

Sebastián López Borda Cineasta y artista visual egresado de la Escuela de Cine y Televisión de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Es director y guionista de los cortometrajes ‘Ella y la implosión’ (2011) el cual obtuvo una importante participación y reconocimiento en festivales, ‘Tunche Fever’ (2018), cortometraje realizado bajo la tutoría de Werner Herzog y ‘Día de campo’ (2019-2021) realizado bajo la tutoría de Lucrecia Martel. Codirector del largometraje documental ‘Tell Me’ (2021). Filmmaker and visual artist graduated from the School of Film and Television of the National University of Colombia. He is the director and screenwriter of the short films ‘She and the implosion’ (2011) which obtained an important participation and recognition in festivals, ‘Tunche Fever’ (2018), short film made under the mentorship of Werner Herzog and ‘A Day in the Country’ (2019-2021) made under the mentorship of Lucrecia Martel. Co-director of the feature documentary ‘Tell Me’ (2021).

El escritor entra al bar queriendo arreglar su relación con la mesera. La historia de su pelea se descubre en diferentes líneas de tiempo, dependiendo de distintos puntos de vista. El narrador y el escritor intentan cambiar lo que pasó, mientras el equipo de producción intenta retratar los hechos en pantalla, interfiriendo en lo que pasa. Cada posibilidad de la historia ocurre en el mismo lugar y al mismo tiempo. As the writer walks into the bar wanting to fix his relationship with the waitress, the story of their past argument unfolds in many different timelines, according to different points of view. The narrator and the writer try to change the events while the film crew tries to bring the words to screen, interfering with what is seen. Every possibility of the story is happening at the same place, at the same time.

Director de cine colombiano que actualmente reside en Estonia. Graduado de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia en 2010, luego de trabajar como editor y director en Diorama Post-producción, se muda a Estonia para estudiar una Maestría en Baltic Film and Media School. Desde el final de sus estudios ha sido un miembro muy activo de la comunidad cinematográfica en Estonia, trabajando en varios largometrajes y desarrollando sus propios proyectos. Colombian film director currently living and working in Estonia. Graduated as a Filmmaker from the National University of Colombia in 2010, after working at Diorama Post-Producción as an editor and director, he moved to Estonia to get a masters degree at the Baltic Film and Media School. After completing the degree, he has been an active member of the Estonian film community, being part of different feature films and developing his own film projects.
