Animal Archives: Honoring Your Clients and Their Pets

Anyone who has lost a beloved family pet may find a memorial gift to be a comforting gesture.

Veterinarians can express their sympathy, say thank you, and build lasting client relationships through the simple but meaningful gesture of placing the departed pet in the Animal Archives. The owners, their family, and friends can see the memorial from anywhere in the country on the Foundation’s Animal Archives website www.mopetmemorial.com The archives are also displayed at the Veterinary Museum in Jefferson City.To date, over 21,000 pets are registered in the archives.

Many of our members participate in this program. A $10 donation on your part comforts clients, helps build your client/doctor relationship, and strengthens the human-animal bond. The Foundation will send, on your behalf, a personalized condolence card with the pet’s name. They also receive a link to their pet’s memorial to upload photos, remarks, etc. Your clinic will also be listed on the Animal Archives Pet Memorial website at www. mopetmemorial.org.
