Resident* and Nonresident Card Information
A Resident or Nonresident Card is required in order to enter any Wentzville Parks and Recreation facility and allows us to better track attendance at our facilities. Nonresident Cards will expire after one year.
Resident Cards enable Wentzville residents to access recreation facilities, recreation programs and classes at discounted resident prices. Cards can be obtained at the WREC, Progress Park Recreation Center, Wentzville Ice Arena and Splash Station (during the season). Each resident must have a Resident Card in order to access the facilities at the resident rate.

Parks and Recreation Board
This volunteer advisory group to the Board of Aldermen, Mayor and Director of Parks and Recreation, serves as a sounding board by holding public meetings and exercising influence throughout the City to improve and expand recreational opportunities. Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Aldermen for a three-year term. The Parks and Recreation Board (PARB) meets at 6:30P on the first Monday of each month at Wentzville City Hall (1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd.). The meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas are provided on the City’s website at www.wentzvillemo.gov/Agendas.

Tree Committee
Wentzville has been recognized for 13 consecutive years as a "Tree City USA" recipient. In the fall of 2014, Wentzville's Parks and Recreation Board created the Tree Committee, which reviews the City's tree and landscape ordinances. Art and Programs Committee
The Arts and Programs Committee of Wentzville, Missouri, is a volunteer nonprofit committee of the City’s Parks and Recreation Board. The Committee engages the community of Wentzville in an appreciation for art in its various forms. News, information and education are disseminated to the community by the committee to demonstrate the value of creativity and craft for generations to come.

Wentzville Parks & Recreation Register for a Program
Register Early
All programs must meet minimum enrollment in order to be offered. If there are not enough registrants, a course must be canceled. Unless otherwise noted, all registrations must be received a minimum of one week prior to the start of the first class. A late fee may apply for registrations after the program deadline listed. Wentzville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel, postpone, combine classes or change instructors as needed. If a class is canceled due to lack of enrollment, registered class participants will be notified of an alternate class or program if one is available or a full refund check or credit slip will be processed within four weeks. Program pricing is often listed in an R/NR format where R stands for resident and NR stands for nonresident.

Payment and Returned Checks
Full payment is required at the time of registration, unless otherwise noted. Upon registering, customers agree to all rules, regulations and policies. A 2% surcharge will be added to all credit or debit card transactions. A $15 charge is applied for all returned payments and installment billing declines.

Field and Facility Rentals
Whether it's a family outing, corporate picnic, wedding or other special event, we make it easy for you to host your event. We have athletic fields, ice rinks, a banquet hall, pavilions, pools and more to meet your needs. Reservations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Refund Guidelines
• A full (100%) refund, credit or transfer will be given if Wentzville Parks and Recreation cancels the program or rental.
• If the participant withdraws from the program before the first class or game,* the Department must receive a request and a full refund will be given, less a $10 administrative fee. The refund will be processed as a credit to the household account.** Credit can be used on future programs. A credit may be used by any member on the same household account.
• If the participant withdraws from the program any time after the first class or game, the Department requires a request and a prorated credit to the account will be given, less a $10 administrative fee.** No refunds will be issued after the program or session is half over.
• Refunds for medical reasons, requested prior to the start date of the program, will be granted a full refund** subject to verification.
• Any refunds processed for volunteer coaching will be applied to the household account for future purchases.
• An administrative cancellation fee of $10 will apply to all field rentals.
• A cancellation for a Progress Park Center reservation will forfeit the deposit.
• A gym or pavilion cancellation must be submitted at least thirty days prior to the reservation. A full refund will be issued minus a $10 administrative fee. Reservation cancellations submitted less than 30 days, but more than 14 days prior to the reservation will be refunded at 50% of the rental fee or the reservation can be rescheduled minus a $10 administrative fee. Reservation cancellations submitted less than 14 days prior to the reservation will forfeit the rental fee or the reservation can be rescheduled minus a $10 administrative fee.
• If a participant withdraws from a program after supplies or tickets have been purchased, the refund will be prorated minus these expenses.
*No refunds will be issued for adult leagues after the registration deadline.
**All youth league refunds will be less the cost of uniforms.

Invite the Easter Bunny to stop by your home for a special hello and toss 25 candy-filled eggs on your front lawn. Deliveries will take place from 9A-5P. Participants may not request a specific visit time as routes are designed to ensure the most efficient deliveries. Extra eggs may be purchased for an additional $15. Hippity hop, Easter’s on its way. The Easter Bunny has been filling thousands of eggs with candy and prizes for our annual Egg Hunt! We encourage everyone to stay after their hunt time for additional festivities and photos with the Easter Bunny! Some eggs will contain a slip of paper for prizes. Bring a basket to collect all your goodies.

Participate in a shared egg hunt on a large section of the field with other children. Register according to each child’s age. Children may register for an older age group but not a younger age group.

Your dog will bark for bones when all kinds of dog treats, bones and toys are hidden for your furry friends. Before the hunt begins, each dog will receive a “doggie bag” to take home and to hold their yummy finds. We will also draw for door prizes. Please provide proof of vaccination by emailing to Fun@wentzvillemo.gov. Those without proof of canine vaccinations at the time of the event will not be allowed to participate. Please be on time for this event because it doesn’t take long for the dogs to gather all the treats! Dogs must remain on leashes at all times. TRASH CAN ARTWORK CONTEST
Citywide Grades: K-12
Team up with the City of Wentzville to raise public awareness about preventing litter in our local parks and community. Participants will create a landscape-layout (horizontal) design to wrap around a trash can on a 24-inch-by-36-inch poster board. Contest winners will have their artwork displayed in one of the City of Wentzville's parks and win a $25 prize. The Crossroads Art Council will host two separate days at the WREC for participants to come in and complete an entry: Saturday, MAR 9 from 1-5P and Wednesday, MAR 13 from 4:30-8:30P. All entries are due by APR 1. Contest winner(s) in each age group will be announced by MAY 1 and will be invited to an awards ceremony at City Hall next spring. Supplies and contest rules are available at the Crossroads Art Council, located at 310 W. Pearce Blvd., while supplies last. (Min 5)

The Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department and the Water Division have partnered with the Crossroads Art Council to offer a scholarship in recognition of art and water conservation to assist deserving high-school seniors who intend to pursue higher education at an accredited community college, four-year college or university. Participants from Holt, Timberland, Liberty and North Point high schools, as well as a Wentzville resident high- school senior enrolled in a private school or home-school program, will compete to design and decorate a themed fire hydrant. This year's theme is "Celestial Wonders," in recognition of the APR 8 solar eclipse!

MISSION: CLEAN STREAM (M:CS)

Help clean up the Peruque and Dry Branch Creek watersheds! These streams are essential to the health of our community and support a variety of wildlife and land uses. Volunteers, ages 6 and up, can register for M:CS as a family, individual or organization. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt*. Cleanup sites will be assigned at check-in. Volunteers will need to drive themselves or ride with their group to the cleanup site. All sites are in the Wentzville area. Multiple Locations Ages: All Wentzville Parks and Recreation is excited to celebrate America's freedom! Fourth of July Parade: The annual Fourth of July Parade starts at 10A at the Wentzville Ice Arena and travels south on Luetkenhaus Boulevard, turns right onto Pearce Boulevard and ends near Pearce Boulevard and Allen Street. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade by designing a float. The theme is, "America's Celebration." Floats will be judged for overall first, second and third place, along with Mayor’s Choice and Best Themed Entry for first and second place. Float registration is required; please visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/FourthOfJuly to register by the JUN 7 deadline. A $10 late fee will be applied to applications submitted after this date. SHARK

This level is the highest we have and focuses almost entirely on technique and preparation for swim team or fitness swimming. Students in this level have learned and put together all strokes, but need further assistance in perfecting them and swimming more efficiently. Skills to be mastered: advancement in basic stroke skill, tread water for two minutes without using hands, retrieve brick from bottom of pool, flip turns, basic butterfly stroke, starts and entries. They will learn the basic three-point stance, different offensive and defensive positions, drive blocking, passing, hand-offs, hole numbers and defense. Certified coaches will teach USA Football's Heads Up Tackling. Parents are more than welcome to learn this safe way of tackling. Campers are invited to attend our all-inclusive Spring Break Camp. While school is out for Spring Break, the fun of summer camp comes alive! Campers will make new friends and participate in games, arts and crafts, cooking and more. On Friday, we will go on a field trip to tour PJ's Coffee in Lake Saint Louis, learn how the business works, decorate cinnamon rolls and then head to Zachary's Playground to play. As a Counselor in Training (CIT), you'll learn about camp programs and develop skills to be a future camp counselor. This program also teaches participants interview and resume skills. Using a weekly recap test and daily evaluations, CITs must pass each level before being allowed to participate in the next week. Bring your lunch, swimsuit and a water bottle each day. If needed, CITs may register for Camp Wentzville’s Sunrise and Sunset Camp. CIT’s will receive an email the Wednesday before the week of camp they are enrolled in that has more information.
