Summer is almost here! You can see it in the longer days, feel it in the warmth of the sunshine and hear it in the sounds of children playing outside at dusk. Wentzville is filled to the brim with summer fun and excitement. Kick off your summer at the annual Wentzville Days Festival May 17-19 in Historic Downtown Wentzville. Check out page 10 to read all about the event that features live music, carnival rides, vendors and more. Mark your calendars for MAY 25 when Splash Station Aquatic Center and Progress Park Pool officially open for the season. Don’t forget to buy a pool pass to save on daily admissions. To avoid the lines, purchase your season pass before opening day. To view the pool schedule for the 2019 season, please see page 2. Looking for more aquatic fun? Check out a River Walking class or sign up your little ones for swim lessons. See pages 17-21 for lessons and aquatic programs. Want a surefire way to keep your kiddos from saying “I’m bored”? Sign them up for Camp Wentzville! Campers will swim every day, participate in a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, cooking, weekly field trips, special guests and much, much more! Register early! Learn more about Camp Wentzville and our other specialty camps beginning on page 30. Adults need to have some fun, too! We've got lots of great Adult Day Trips planned (see pages 12-13) – including a dinner cruise, a trip to Hermann, a day at the horse races and more. Lastly, be sure to join us on July 4 for the parade and celebration. The parade starts at 10A and travels east down Pearce Boulevard from Campus Drive to Luetkenhaus Boulevard. Following the parade, we will have lots of fun activities at Progress Park. Take a look at the back cover for more details. Most importantly, just get outside and enjoy one of our many beautiful parks. We truly have something for everyone to enjoy. Mike Lueck, Director

Resident and Nonresident Definitions Wentzville residents are those living within the city limits of the City of Wentzville. City limits and Post Office boundaries are not the same, so it’s possible to have a Wentzville address yet live outside the city. A Household Annual Pass consists of two adults and three children, 22 years of age or younger, living in the same household. Additional children may be added to a membership for $25 per child (for residents) or $35 per child (for nonresidents).
