It seems impossible that we are already talking about ushering in 2019 (NYE Lock-In info on pg. 12), or discussing spring events (on pgs. 10-11), or even previewing our summer camps (pgs. 29-31), but we are. Time really flies when you're having fun! There's fun to be had everywhere you look in Wentzville, and even as winter settles in we're dreaming ahead to sunny, spring days. This issue is packed full of information about upcoming programs and special events. Staying physically active is always a popular resolution and one of the best things you can do to promote overall body health. Regular exercise helps your mind and body. We've got lots of great ideas to help you get motivated and plan your family's fitness routine for 2019. If you're looking for a new sport for your child to try, check out our Youth Sports on pg. 24. We've got every league you can imagine from T-ball to soccer, lacrosse to volleyball, tennis clinics, basketball and more! Adults need to stay active, too! Did you know that, according to Harvard research, sustained, moderate aerobic exercise like jogging, power walking and swimming can improve brain power and brain activity? Spring into shape this season with our Health and Fitness classes on pg. 14, Adult Sports leagues on pg. 16, and don't miss our new Women's Self-Defense class highlighted on pg. 23. We've truly got something for everyone! As always, I invite you to get active and stay active with Wentzville Parks and Recreation. Happy New Year!
