22 Pray for peace in Jerusalem and
Palestine that national leaders would work relentlessly to bring an end to the intense suffering of all people caught up in the conflict. Pray that enemies may be reconciled and divisions healed.
23 Lord we pray for people who find it
hard to talk to you, who feel that they are not worthy to come before you. Lord we ask that you will take their hand and draw them ever so close to you so that they will feel your ever loving arms around them and know that their heavenly Father is very close by.
24 Lord as we gather here this morning,
we lift up our hearts and voices to you in praise and adoration. We want to give you the praise that you richly deserve.
25 Father we come in the name of Jesus Christ and ask that all people who are struggling with illness and addiction will be healed. We believe all that you have promised and we have come to claim it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
26 Pray for the elders and leaders in our
church that they would make decisions that bring honour and glory to God despite any secular pressure that may be brought to bear on them.
27 Lord we lift up the youth who have
been to Soul Survivor. We pray that you will have touched them in some way, so that they will have come back refreshed, renewed and at one with you.
28 Lord you ask us to go to the cross with
our problems and leave them their and you will sort them out. You are a God of miracles. So we come before you to lift up the Prayer Warriors of the Prayer Group who meet and pray for people on the Prayer Tree. Bless each person on the tree and the person who places it their.
29 We pray for all animal charities who at
the moment are under extreme pressure. They are also your creatures Lord. So we lift them up before you Lord and pray against the abuse that some do against them.
30 Abba Father, we lift up all those who have no place to call home, no place to rest their head, the faces etched with worry. Be with them Lord and let them rest in your hand, trust in you and live in you.
31 Father we simply come before you this morning to say sorry for all the things we have done to displease you and ask for your forgiveness and mercy.
Reading 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

1 Lord as we leave July, we give thanks for all the answered prayers and we ask that you will hear our prayers in August with the same compassion.

We give thanks for the safe return of the Action Arizona team from their mission. We pray that their help and support has brought your people peace and comfort.
3 As we gather in church today, pray for
the highest expectations of meeting Jesus in each other, of sharing our God given gifts and resources and uniting in worship with heartfelt praise.
4 Pray and ask God’s blessing on all the
students (young and old) as they await their examination results this month.

Through prayer there are no doors which are closed to us. Pray today for all who suffer injustice, persecution and abuse at the hands of others.
6 Give thanks and ask God’s blessing on all who have been moved to provide the Christ in Action Food-bank with the means to meet the needs of 400 people in food crisis over the last six months. The glory and success of this project belongs to God and is faithfully sustained by his hand.
7 Give thanks and praise to the Lord for his unconditional love and understanding which draws out of us, all the goodness and giftedness each has been blessed with. John 13:34
8 Bring before the Lord today the needs and helplessness of the poor, hungry and homeless people in Ayrshire.

Pray forgiveness for perceived sin, guilt and failure in various areas of our lives. May we experience through prayer and faith the cleansing love of Jesus.
10 Pray a strong covering of God’s protection over the Manse family and ask for a special anointing of David’s ministry, that he would receive God’s direction and vision for the church and that the Word of God would come alive to the congregation as he preaches this morning.
11 Give thanks for the mature Christians
in every aspect of church life who take the time to encourage and build up others.
12 Pray for the newly appointed leaders of
the Young Church that they will be truly blessed in their ministry.
13 Lord as the teachers and staff go into the in-service days, please be with them and be close to each one throughout the new school year.
14 We lift up all those who are struggling
with darkness that puts a veil across their eyes and hearts. Lord shine your perpetual light to show them the way to go.

17 Pray for the members of our church
family who are sick and unable to come to church services or share in the fellowship that they would feel God’s loving arms surround them and know he is with them.
18 Lord be with all children who are
starting their first day at nursery, primary, academy and university and also be with their parents and grandparents as they watch their child/ grandchild take another step on their journey of life. Bless them all.
19 Lord, flood this nation with the Holy Spirit. Let our eyes be open to you.
20 Father we lift up all those who gather to study your holy word in the Bible. Bless all Bible Study groups all over the world, especially the ones who have to go underground to do so.
21 Lord we pray for unity in our streets.
We ask a blessing on our neighbours, as all too often we don't get to know our neighbours as we used to.
