22 Father of all compassion, we remember

people who are affected by alcohol, drugs and substance abuse who need help to break free and rebuild their lives.

23 Father, we pray for the valuable work of Youth for Christ as they tell young people about Jesus. We particularly pray for Andrew Fraser as he continues his gap year working with them in Swindon.

24 Pray for those affected by mental health

problems. Ask God to bring them comfort and hope.

25

“Share each other’s burdens” Galatians 6:2 Ask God to give you wisdom to know how to help someone who is struggling.

26 Thank you Father for Messy Church and

Creator’s Club, for fellowship and fun whilst learning about You, our amazing God and Creator.

29 Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not in to temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours, now and forever. Amen

Connecting with God, each other and the world

30 Today begins the period from Ascension

to Pentecost when Christians around the world will join together to pray ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ and for more people to come to know Jesus. Join with them praying ‘Come Holy Spirit’.

31 Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in the

lives of five friends who do not yet know Jesus.

27 “Pray for all people. Ask God to help them;

intercede on their behalf and give thanks for them...This is good and pleases God our Saviour who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2: 1,3-4 NLT

28 “During the forty days after he suffered and

died, he appeared to the apostles … and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive” Acts 1:3 Pray for those who haven’t yet discovered the truth of the resurrection.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses …to the ends of the earth. When he had said this…he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight…Then they returned to Jerusalem … and were constantly devoting themselves to prayer.” Acts 1
