1 Lord, I come to you as a child. I’m weak

and I don’t have all the answers but I trust in you to take care of me and give me what I need for today.

2 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. Proverbs 3: 13-14

8 Pray for our leaders who have lost their way. May you raise up those who will speak your truth and wisdom into the problems we face as a nation.

9 Give thanks for our family at MPN. May we love one another as we have been instructed and show compassion and care for each other.

3 But as for me I shall always have hope,

I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long though I know not its measure. Psalm 71: 14-15

10 Thank you for all those who have taken

part in the services while David has been on holiday. We have been blessed by the preaching and teaching of Your word.

4 Pray for wisdom for all those involved in the Brexit negotiations that they would see clearly the way ahead.

5 Thank you Father for the beauty of the

countryside around us in Ayrshire and help us to value and protect it for future generations.

6 “You did not choose me, but I chose you

and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love one another.” John 15: 16-17

homes, possessions and lives in the wild fires in Greece and California.

13 Pray for those who have lost family,

friends, homes and possessions in the dam burst in Laos.

14 Lord we thank you for all the lovely sunshine and beautiful flowers we have enjoyed this summer.

15 Lord help us to appreciate the many

blessings you have bestowed on us help us to have more consideration for others.

16 This is my story, this is my song,

praising my Saviour all the day long. Father God, help us to praise you in all things every day. Psalm 92:1 says “it is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your Name, O Most High”

17 “Blessed is the man who perseveres

under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12

18 Lord, draw us close to you today so

that we may also be closer to each other, protect your church’s unity. Give us understanding where there is distrust. Heal us where we are divided.

19 In God’s hands your life has a

beautiful purpose. Trust Him today. His Grace can take us from ashes to amazing.

20 Pray for all those returning or starting school today. May they be refreshed and ready to learn.

21 Lord help me to listen for Your voice

above all others and look to you alone for approval.
