24 Tomorrow is the Church of Scotland National Day of Prayer. Pray for all the different work the church is involved in and pray that we will seek God for the way ahead.

29 Better to be lowly in spirit and among the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. Proverbs 16: 19

30 Pray for all those meeting tonight in

the first night of the joint Committees and Kirk Session Meetings. May they see God’s Path for our Church and be guided by His Holy Spirit.

Connecting with God, each other and the world

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5 16:18

25 Pray for all involved in the

Christmas Fayre today, that the love of Jesus will be shown to everyone who attends.

26 Lord we pray for all the Churches in our community as they meet for worship today that your name will be lifted high and praised. Pray also for the families who will attend Messy Church today.

27 and since we have a great priest

over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water Hebrews 10: 16

28 Pray for those who are ill, in

hospital or nursing home that they will experience God’s healing power and peace.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43: 19

1 Pray for all those involved in the Lunch

Club, those who prepare the food and those who come to share the food. May each know God's blessing as they work and eat together.

2 You are a great and mighty God and no situation which we encounter is too difficult for You to solve. Help us to accept Your answers to prayer even though we don't always understand them.

3 Be still, quieten your mind, breathe slowly,

close your eyes. Relax. You are in the presence of Abba. Listen to His voice.

4 Pray for those on the Alpha Holy Spirit Day today. May they be filled by the Spirit and encounter His Presence.

5 Pray for the Lighting Up Preparation day

that many will come to help and share fellowship as we eat and work together.

6 “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

8 Lord we pray for persecuted Christians around the world. We pray that your Kingdom comes to this broken world.

Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes. Plead with Him, reminding Him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6: 18

10 Give thanks for the Boys’ Brigade and the work they continue to do.

11 Pray God’s protection on the Manse

family as they seek to further God’s purpose, vision and unity for our church in Prestwick.

12 “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.” Pray for all whose lives have been impacted by wars and loss.

13 Give thanks for those who visited church yesterday. Ask that God would reveal himself to them so that they might come to know him better, or for the first time.

14 Pray that God will help you to be kind and compassionate to everyone and that you will have more opportunities to show God’s love and generosity.

15 You may say to yourself, “My power and

the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8: 18-18

16 Coffee Buddies meets once a fortnight

in Sainsbury café. This is to encourage friendships between people with learning disabilities and church members. Please pray that these friendships will grow in this informal time shared together.

17 The mighty oceans thunder your

praise, you are mightier than all the breakers pounding on the seashores of the world. Psalms 93: 3-4 Lord I thank and praise you that you are always greater than all of my troubles and I can trust you to carry me through

18 Lord we pray for all involved in the

Alpha course tomorrow that your spirit will guide the leaders and open the eyes and minds of those attending to the hope we have in you.

19 This is Prestwick Lighting up day.

Pray that the love of Jesus will shine through as He is the Light of the World.

20 Consequently, faith comes from

hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10: 17

21 Lord, may I remember you as I go into

the world today, that my every word be a prayer and every act speak of your love and truth.

22 Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll

tell you marvellous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own. Jeremiah 33 3b
