1 Pray for the Alpha Course this evening that the leaders and all those attending will be blessed by a time of fellowship, learning and sharing.

2 Pray for those at the last session of Prayer Ministry training tonight. Pray that their prayer life would have been enriched and that they would walk more closely with the Lord.

3 “I love the Lord for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” Psalm116: 1-2

4 Pray for all those attending the Lunch Club that they will find friendly welcome and a time of fellowship.

“ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.” Isaiah51: 6

6 The Lord is MY shepherd. He cares for ME.

He loves ME. He knows ME. Blessed be his name.

7 Pray for the Morning of Praise and Prayer at

Monkton today, that all who attend would be blessed and feel God at work.

8 Pray for the Creators' Club this morning as it

focuses on teaching our young people about faith. May all involved find fun and enjoyment in their journey together.

9 Pray for families that are at

Kiddiewinkles this morning. Pray that we may have an opportunity to witness to the many who regularly enter our church buildings but do not yet know Jesus.

10 As the VASA Befriending Group meet in

the halls today, pray for those for whom loneliness is a daily reality. May they know that they are loved and never truly alone.

faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need Romans 12: 12-13 Pray for persecuted Christians all over the world who live and work in difficult circumstances because of their faith.

12 The speaker today at the Guild is from

Prospects Scotland. Pray for the work of Prospects as they help churches to welcome and include people with learning disabilities.

13 As the schools close today for the October break pray for the many families for whom holiday time brings added pressure and strain.

14 Pray for the teachers and school staff as

they enjoy a well earned break. Pray that they would find refreshment and return renewed.

15 Lord, we pray that today your Spirit will lead David in his teaching and that our hearts will be open to receive it.

18 Lord, may I remember you as I go into

the world today, that my every word be a prayer and every act speak of your love and truth.

19 He who dwells in the shelter of the

Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Psalms 91: 1-2

20 Father, thank you for the beautiful area we live in which reminds us that we see your power in creation.

21 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalms 31: 5

22 Lord we pray that Messy Church will

draw families closer to you and that this will be a time of fun, exploration of faith and fellowship today.
