Hi Everybody, First, I would like to thank Jim Bull for everything he has done over the past years to make MRA the great publication it is today. It is an understatement to say I have some very big shoes to fill. My promise to you, Jim, and Engle Printing and Publishing, is to do my very best in filling these shoes. I would also like to thank Jim for the very nice introduction he gave me. As Jim told you in last month’s edition, I have been away from the sport for quite a while and am excited to become active in it again. My plan is to attend as many events as possible. In the past few weeks, I have been able to start getting out and about. The response from those I have met has been very warm and welcoming. So, if you happen to see me at the track, please stop me and say hello! The goal of MRA and the Engle team is to continue to provide and improve the
excellent publication you have come to know and expect. We are open to any ideas or suggestions you may have and will definitely give them consideration. We want to give you the type of articles and information you enjoy reading. Now, I am going to ask for something from you. Please support the organizations, tracks and businesses whose ads you see in MRA. They are the ones who make it possible for us to support you and your sport of Motorcycle/ATV Racing and produce MRA for our readers. Happy Fourth of July to everyone! Enjoy the time with your family and friends, but please take a few minutes out of your festivities to remember those past and present who have made and continue to make it possible for us to enjoy our freedom and the sport we love. See you at the track. Chuck Lister

D7 President’s Corner As I was preparing to write this column, I received a call that our sport has injured another rider. Nick Cummings, National # 22 Dirt Track, was placed on life support earlier this week. Nick was injured while competing at the Dayton, Ohio, Half Mile. As we go to print, Nick has been taken off life support, is conscious, and we hope will make a full recovery. I have followed his career since he was a young star and now have a memory of his victorious win at Daytona. This year I had the honor to participate as a team member on the Pair A Nines Kawasaki Moto GP2 road race team in Daytona. The team took first place, and I had the pleasure of celebrating on top of the podium with him and his teammates. From CYCLE NEWS, this story, “In an unrelated incident, former Grand National racer and team owner Randy Texter was in the same hospital as Cummings, having suffered a heart attack on Saturday. Texter is scheduled to be air lifted to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday to have heart surgery.” Randy and his family have a long history of racing in this multiple district area. Their dedication and support are unquestionable. Unfortunately, when the unexpected happens to folks, we know we have to stop and slow down and reflect. We are involved in a sport that has a risk factor greater than most. We must all learn to take time to be sure to take precautions and always remember safety first. My parents never wanted me to ride a motorcycle. In fact, I didn’t get my first bike until I was out of college and out of my parents’ home. They wanted me to be a golfer. When I was younger, I couldn’t stand still long enough to hit a golf ball. I would always ask my father why he liked golf. He told me he likes to watch the golf ball fly down the fairway. That’s when I told my father that I wanted to be the golf ball that flew down the fairway. So my father told all of his friends that he had a son who wanted to be a golf ball that flew through the air. I’m not writing this to scare anyone. This just has to be talked about or it eats away at the soul. It’s my therapy for survival. Every time I throw my leg over my racer, I take that responsibility. I do it because I choose to. I accept that racer’s creed. We must learn to talk amongst ourselves when these type of injuries or illnesses happen. We must try to stop and smell
MDRA President’s Corner Dear Fellow Racers, Round 5 is in the books, and over 560 riders attended the MDRA round at Sleepy Hollow. We had some great racing in the A Classes, with over 20 riders on the gate. It’s this kind of “stand by the fence” racing that we want to promote. There are still seven MDRA rounds left, with a lot of contingency, gas cards and free classes to give away. Last month, Wayne Sody, the District 7 president, acknowledged me for some of the positive changes in racing in this area. Thank you, Wayne, for your kind words. I am heavily involved in three series: the MDRA, the Ultimate series and the PAMX. As with anything, it takes a team to make things happen, and with the help of many, I hope to make improvements each year. I’d like to expand on Mr. Sody’s crediting by saying “thank you” to the people involved and for the hard work that they put into all of these series. First of all, I would like to thank all the riders who attend. Without you, we wouldn’t have a series. Secondly, my brother, Jeff, for all his great ideas, getting gas cards, attending the riders’ meetings, handing out all those free passes, for his knowledge of the rules, and the list goes on. My Mom and Dad for all the hard work with the points, cards, website, prizes, product giveaways, emails and answering all the questions people have, and the list goes on. Thank you to Donna Clozic for selling the MDRA cards at all the rounds for the past three years. Thank you to Jeff Cernics and Anna Corbin for helping us get contingency from Suzuki, KTM
Hello Folks,
Due to some technical problems, Don Logan, MAMA president, was not able to submit a letter this month. Don’t worry, though. He’ll be back again for the August issue. As we are about midway through the season, be sure to check out when MAMA returns to The Landing on July 18 and 19 to see who leads the competition. Don’t miss the excitement in this issue! the roses. These two gentlemen have given a lot to the sport, and we wish them both a speedy recovery. We must all, as a community of racers, pull together and support their families and all those others that have suffered injury or illness. This is a dangerous sport that we choose, and we are all vulnerable. Let me end this month on a little lighter topic. Most doctors and physicians dislike or have a disdainful view toward any form of racing. Whether its motorcycles, cars, jet skis, snow mobiles, or bicycles, they think we’re only exposing ourselves to risk of injury. So, let me paraphrase a poem called “The Engine.” A doctor walks into his local motorcycle shop to pick up his cruiser. The mechanic asks, “Hey doc, how come I don’t make as much money as you do? I fix things and make them run just like you do.” The doctor paused and looked the mechanic right in the eyes. “You can make as much money as I do when you can replace the piston when the engine is running.” The difference between the doctor and the mechanic is the doctors’ engines (people) are always running. We can’t shut our engines off to be repaired. If you want the full version of the above, e-mail me at waynesody1@comcast.net. You should live life to the fullest. Don’t leave any stone unturned. Keep your feet on the pegs, go fast, and take chances.

and Honda. Thank you to all the tracks for having faith in the series and hosting the events. Thanks to all the sponsors for paying for all the products we give away at each round and to MSR, Answer, ProTaper and Tucker Rocky for all the products they give away and the contingency. The last few people I want to mention are the reason the MDRA exist; they had faith in me four years ago when we decided to do this, and if they wouldn’t have had the faith… it would not exist. Finally, thanks to Dave Hayes, Chad Gochenour, Dave Segal, Karla Cain, and Alan Decarlo. As you know, some of these people are no longer involved in the MRDA for whatever reason, but they still all made it happen. My apologies to anyone I may have missed. As you know, it takes more than the front line to win the war. We have the leadership, and we have the team to make it happen. If you are not yet part of the series, come race with us. You’ll be glad you did. Good luck to all the riders, and I will see you at the MDRA races. Rod Yentzer
Hello again! There’s no doubt that the current economic times are harsh, and certainly we hope, and many of us pray, that they don’t get any worse. Everyone, regardless of what profession they are in, is feeling the pinch. However, attending many of the District 6 MXPG Ultimate Series events and hearing about the attendance at many of the other motocross series, we get the feeling that motocross racing is definitely alive and well here in the Northeast. I stated in an earlier President’s Corner that motocross is in our blood, and I’ve talked to many people who have made sacrifices with other parts of their lives to see that their “MX family” gets to the races each weekend. The local scene: Remaining MX bike dates heading into round number 7 at Hurricane Hills Sports Center at this writing: the Ultimate Series will go to Raceway Park on June 27 and 28, back to Hurricane Hills on Aug. 8 and 9, and finish up on Sept. 5 and 6 at Miles Mountain. There’s no doubt that those who attended the races at Pagoda MC, Evansville MX, DMX, Sleepy Hollow, Doublin Gap and Happy Ramblers were treated to some of the best motocross racing in the country. Remaining MX Quad dates heading into Sleepy Hollow race weekend at this writing (the Ultimate Quad MX racing goes a little deeper into the season): Miles Mountain on Aug. 9, Hurricane Hills on Sept. 6, Evansville on Sept.19 and 20 and Doublin Gap on Oct. 3 and 4. These races will still provide some awesome quad racing, and with the earlier rounds at Evansville, DMX, Raceway Park, Miles Mountain and Hurricane Hills, the quad racers have an opportunity for some
excellent racing to come. The National Scene: I, like many of you, have been around this sport a long time. I remember how exciting it was to see our favorite Motocross National and Supercross events on television through the years. However, with the Supercross coverage on Speed Channel and this year’s Speed Channel and Network coverage of outdoor motocross, the excitement has certainly been elevated. It’s just pretty neat to see motocross racing on TV! It’s my opinion that the level of excitement of motocross racing is generated by two large factors - sponsors and participants. The local and national race promoters and clubs have had to adapt to the changing of the times when it comes to what the sponsors and participants expect at their race facilities, and I might add that they’ve done a terrific job in doing so. The whole presentation, along with track layouts and designs, are the best they’ve ever been. All this and more in an effort to accommodate the level of expectation that the sponsors and participants are looking for. Have fun motocrossing! George W. Denke President D6 MXPG

By PJ Timberman - www.delmarvasportsphotography.com
Over 80 quads entered in the D7 Gold race at Delmarva Motorsports Park in Seaford, DE, Sunday, May 24th, making the field of riders just over 270. With temps in the 70s and clear skies, it turned out to be a great day for racing. Classes combined to make up 21 motos, with 250AB starting the day’s events and TJ Irvin taking both motos in A. Irvin continued his day with an overall first in Collegeboy by splitting motos with Daniel
Todd and splitting wins in an exciting Open A class with Steven Wilson Jr.
Div. 2, as did Ryan Ganoe in 65 7-9, Mason Richards in 65 10-11 and Maynard Miller in 25+. Nicholas Ferrell had an excellent day, winning six out of six motos to take home three first-place trophies in Schoolboy, 85 9-11 and Supermini. As usual, JT Elliot put on a great show and won both Quad A. Nick Gadeleta and Kiril Martin split the wins in Quad B, with Martin rebounding from a ninthplace finish in the first moto, bringing him up to fourth place. Consistency paid off for Laurence Fentress; finishing second in both Quad B motos made him the firstplace trophy winner. Scott Vanfossen won both Quad 30+, as did David Elburn in Quad 40+.
Andrew Green took an overall first in 250B, splitting the motos with Brandon Richardson, who took home second. Green also won second in Open B behind Joshua Willin, who won both races. Chris Buchanan and Zachary Grunden split in Quad C, with Buchanan taking the first-place trophy, and Josh Rogers won both in Quad C
Coty Schock again went four for four and won all motos in 85 9-11 and Junior Mini. Ted Orr and Jeffrey Wroten won all races in 40+ A and 40+ Amateur respectively. Michael Reynolds placed first overall in 250C, with a first- and fourth-place finish, and Jeremy Caudill had another great run with wins in both 51cc Sr.7-8 motos.
Joe Caruso and Christopher Ohara split wins in Vet 30+, with Caruso as the overall class winner. Caruso and Ohara continued their battle in 35+ A, again splitting wins and Caruso taking the top prize. Wade Blevins won both in Vet 30+ B and 35+ Amateur, as Vet C mixed things up with Brett Bernard with a firstand second-place finish; Troy Remines, with a third and a first, ended up overall second. Mike Farmer won both motos in 50+, with Doug Wentzell a close second. The day’s events finished off with Open C taking to the track for the second time and Charles Vane Jr. winning again and Michael Reynolds right behind to take second. The top three finishers in each class are as follows. For complete results, visit www.amadistrict7.com.

championship. On the start, Jennings got the hole-shot he was hoping for and led the field into the first turn. From there, he continually pulled away from the field, winning by nearly half a lap at the finish. That gave Jennings not only the race win, but the series championship and the $500 check to go with it.
What a weekend of racing! The Hole Shot Series began at Shippensburg Speedway on Sunday May 24, 2009, with a “TT” race. It was hot and dusty, but when the dust finally settled, the results were as follows: 1 - #151 Matt Dice - Honda 2 - #401 Eric Jennings - Yamaha 3 - #29 Jeff Horseman - Honda 4 - #65 Justin Hansberger - Honda 5 - #22 Bob Kline - Honda 6 - #86 Mike Castelana - Honda 7 - #24 James Hamaker - Honda
Bob Kline, one of the series sponsors, finished second. Matt Dice had a bad start, but was able to race his way back to third. Jeff Horseman finished fourth, and Jeff Nishanian came home fifth.
For the second round, Shippensburg hosted the Flat Track race in the evening. The results were as follows: 1 - #151 Matt Dice - Honda 2 - #401 Eric Jennings - Yamaha 3 - #22 Bob Kline - Honda 4 - #59 Randy Bidle - Honda 5 - #24 Jim Hamaker - Honda 6 - #65 Justin Hansberger - Honda 7 - #29 Jeff Horseman - Honda The half-mile track at the York Fairgrounds provided the setting for the final leg of the Hole Shot Series for the Memorial Day Weekend. to date has been really tight, and I believe in 2009 we really will see true champions from this region of our coverage. Kudos to the D6 Ultimate MX Promoters Group; it seems you have given the racers a series that they truly want to participate in. Like previous rounds, the gates were loaded and the racing was hot. The 250 A and B divisions were first to go on this day, with local Team Green rider Lowell Spangler again in attendance. Spangler only seems to make a few local rounds each year, but when he does the rest of the group feels his presence. One of the guys to watch off the second gate was Tyler Conner. Conner was always a contender on the minis, and he has begun to race the big bikes as well. He grabbed three wins today, ranging from Supermini through 250 B. Some great battles of the day were to be found in both the 250 C divisions and the age classes. It really is a pleasure to go to the track and see the competitive racing that is currently taking place. What does this mean for the future? I believe it means our sport is strong and the gates are going to get bigger and faster as we go, so hold onto your hats Tyler Conner runs the gamut, winning Supermini, and enjoy the ride. School Boy 4-Stroke and 250 B.
Round # 5 of the District 6 Ultimate MX Series landed at Doublin Gap MX Park the last weekend in May. I tell you, this series has really picked up steam in 2009 and has been followed by many of the fastest racers from the district. One of the challenges that District 6 has faced in the past is the geographic size of the area that they compete in. Many times in the past, racers would stick close to home and race at their local tracks. This allows the racer that attends the most rounds of a series to end up winning the division, and how boring is that. Not so this year; the racing

OX BO Harescramble May 30-31, 2009 -
Shane Hufford got third in the AA class.
It was a very dusty day at the South Penn Racetrack for the fourth round of the PA State series. There were a lot of riders that came out to race at the OX BO, which is named for two club members that have passed away. This is a really awesome track to race on! They have everything a rider could want here: an enduro section, a woods section, and flat grass sections. Therefore, everyone is getting a little taste of everything. The youth raced on Saturday, which I was not there for, and there were no quads at the race. But, on Sunday, the crowd got to see some great racing. The story of the day was in the AA class. There was quite the show put on by Andrew Delong and Jerod Stoner, both riding on KTMs. The way those two were flying around the track made everything look easy, even though that was not the case for everyone else. They were battling the whole race, but Stoner’s front brake got knocked loose. For about four laps he was racing without a front brake. Delong caught and passed him and finished in first place. Both did a great job and looked awesome out on the track. What most people do not know about this track is that they offer a lot more than just a race. This is a track that you come and ride around on and camp out there at night. This family-owned track, on a huge chunk of land, also offers training lessons from certified instructors for kids to adults. You can bring the whole family along, ride during the day, and have a nice campfire at night for very affordable prices. This is an awesome opportunity for people who want a track to practice on or for people to just go have fun with family and friends. Happy Ramblers Round # 6 Ultimate MX Series- June 6-7, 2009 By: Jim Bull Photo.com 0607 Happy Rambler Results D6 Ultimate Series Race Round #6 35+ A 1) Barry Carsten; 2) Michael P. Bear; 3) Gregory L. Pamart; 4) Jerry J. Seip; 5) Sean C. Gillies; 6) Ewell Gilliam; 7) Robert Harris; 8) Jeffrey D. Miller; 9) Brad Stepp; 10) Joseph J. Marshall 35+ B 1) Kevin Kolb; 2) Michael R. The D6 Ultimate MX Series has been on a roll lately with three rounds back to back. With the culmination of this round, the series has just passed the midway point. As I mentioned in a previous review, the racers continue to follow the series in the hopes of achieving those year-end championships. We’ll have two rounds after this one that will appear in a later issue of MRA, then the series takes a month off to regroup for the final two rounds. It’s at that point we’ll see what riders have the chance of becoming 2009 Ultimate MX Champs. Today’s action started off with the 35 + groups. Barry Carsten would take the win in the expert division followed by AMS’s Mike Bear then Frenchie Pamart. Pamart and Carsten would go at it again later in the Vet A division, and it would prove to be some of the best racing of the day, with Carsten coming out on top again. This is the kind of racing that will make you buy a ticket to the show. Kevin Kolb from Temple, PA, would take the honors in the 35 + B division. Next up we saw the Junior Mini division and with it a kid that can flat-out fly. Darian Robinsion would notch another win in an Ultimate MX event and could be in contention for the most wins of the series. At this point, the competition would be tight between him and Carsten. Later in the day we would see some great expert racing action as well as some great 50cc competition. Check these guys and gals out because they are your future champions. I would bet our area of the country has some of the best 50 turnouts around. OK, well that’s it for now. Check the results here, and as usual log on to www.jimbullphoto. com for the rest of the action. Also make sure you check out GMXR.net. Rob Harris and his crew are doing a great job of covering your Ultimate MX Series.
Kristopher Shumaker soars to the win in 25 + B.

Sleepy Hollow MX Park Round 5 - MDRA Overall Race Results
A classic Cook / Clark battle took place in the Open A division, with Cook taking the win on this day over Clark in second.
The MDRA Series held its fifth round at the Sleepy Hollow Motocross Park in Fredericksburg, PA, in mid-June. The Saturday practice day brought humid conditions for riding, but as the race day dawned the humidity broke and the skies were clear with a light breeze, leaving perfect weather for the huge crowd in attendance. The crew at Sleepy added a new section to their course for this event on top of the already improved new layout that we saw for their Ultimate MX race here a few weeks back. Again, the riders we talked to at this event seemed to enjoy the new design, as it keeps the playing field even for all involved. Today’s action was intense as usual, with both ends of the spectrum being top-notch in this series. The expert divisions offered large gates with some of the fastest riders from the area in attendance. I would bet that there are at least three to four contenders
in the A divisions racing today that have a legitimate shot to win a national title at Loretta’s this August. The amateur divisions were also loaded, with another three to five riders that will finish well at the big show. However, the biggest news falls in the 50cc divisions. At last count, I believe there are nine riders from this group qualified for the amateur nationals that hold MDRA cards. Wow, that’s a huge number if you think about it. We wish the best to all of them, and I look for our guys and gals to bring home the gold, maybe in more than one division. You can check today’s results here and be sure to log on to www.jimbullphoto.com to check out your favorite race images. The MDRA Race Series is just about at the halfway point for the year. The next round at Pleasure Valley will be complete until you read this, then the second half of the series kicks off in early July at Budds Creek.

Miles Mountain MX Park June 14, 2009 -
Miles Mountain MX Park really knows how to show people a good time, racers and spectators alike. The race was sponsored by Moose, Thor, Polaris, and Bottle Run Extreme. This was a whole weekend event; Saturday hosted the AMA ATV national, with Brandon Summers being the points leader in that series. That night, Kasey Higgins did some awesome stunts for the crowd; kids with wide eyes rushed him when he came off the track to get his autograph. On Sunday, the park hosted the sixth round of the PA State Series on their 12-mile track. The youth were the first up to race their 45-minute race on a short version of the track, with Eric Derckholcomb leading the way. At the finish line, Derckholcomb was greeted by family and friends with huge congratulations for him. When I asked him what he thought of the track, he said, “Perfect and fast.” These words could also be used to describe his riding that day; he did an awesome job flying around the track on his KTM. At this race, I got the chance to meet a very awesome and talented kid. His name

is Colton Anderson, and he races in the 125 B class. I was standing next to his mother at the starting line, and when he got the holeshot she was jumping and yelling like an extremely proud mom. After seeing her reaction to her son, I had to ask her about him. As it turns out, he is only 14 years old and is already partially sponsored by Husqvarna. He has dreams of one day becoming fully sponsored, and if he keeps doing what he has been, I do not see why he wouldn’t be. Even though he did get the holeshot, he ended up getting fourth in the race due to bike trouble. The overall winner in the adult bikes was Ben Bowlen, who is sponsored by Moose. Bowlen got the holeshot for his race, which did not only help him win the race, but also got him the $50 holeshot award for the day. In second was Andy Miller, who said that his favorite part of the track was the uphills, which this track had plenty of. In the end, it was a good, challenging weekend for all the racers.

The Landing MX Park June 14, 2009 By PJ Timberman - www.delmarvasportsphotography.com
Danny Brown #282 whips it across the line in Schoolboy 14-16.
The Landing MX Park in Easton, MD, was host to the sixth MAMA race of the year on June 13 and 14. The Senior Open/Senior Supports classes started the weekend motos with Claude Willett #161 taking both in Open and later in the day taking first in Super Senior, while Brian Bouma #189 split wins with Aaron Sanborn #27 in Support, with Bouma taking home the first-place trophy. Jeffery Corron #383 won both motos in Collegeboy, and Scott Clark #442 took both in Schoolboy 12-16. Amanda Brown #293 once again won both of the Women’s class motos. Don Tinker #7 finished off Saturday’s events by taking overall first after finishing
second and then winning the last moto of the day in Super Senior Support. Heavy storms hit the area Saturday night, making the track slick and treacherous for morning practice. The first set of motos was delayed to give the track more time to dry and also tested the riders in the first set of motos. By the second round, the sun and a slight breeze helped dry the track along with the track crew, who scraped some of the mud off the surface and worked the start area, giving the riders some traction. Two of the top riders of the weekend were Justin Rodbell #58 and Coty Schock #116. Rodbell took a first in all 50A and 60B motos, and Schock
took all in 80A 9-11 and Jr. Mini. Other riders winning both motos in their class were J. Custer #2 in 250 B and Danny Brown #282 in 250 C. Nicholas Carruba #180 took both in 80B 9-11, Andrew Benson #191 in Open A, and E. Wernig #31 in Mini Women Open, while Taylor Vanvorst #312 won both motos in Mini Women Support. Jessica Betz #55 and Jonah Eng #54 won both of their motos, Betz in 50 Multi Speed and Eng in 50 Oil 4-6. Austin Moore #717 and Jacob Pruitt #180 won both motos in 80B and 80C 12-15, respectively. MAMA will return to The Landing on the weekend of July 18 and 19 after a trip to VMP. The top three

Getting To Know Flat Track Racer Daniel Bromley Interviewed by: Cory Texter
S605546
CT: You race quite a few varieties of disciplines, between Hare Scrambles & Dirt Track and you have even done some Motocross. What’s your favorite? DB: I like them all. CT: Fair enough. How did you get started in the sport? DB: From watching my brother ride and learning from him. CT: Your brother Joey races with you quite a bit? How do you feel about him being a competitor? DB: Well, at least I know he won’t ride dirty with me. CT: At least you hope not! Who else is your biggest competition at the races? DB: Matt Zacher. CT: Do you want to be a professional dirt-tracker or hare scrambler when the time comes? DB: Dirt-tracker, but I still want to keep going to Hare Scrambles in the off-season. CT: Sounds like a busy schedule. I have a hard time keeping up with my full Dirt Track schedule. Your dad is also the new AMA Director of Racing. How are you dealing with that this year? Pretty cool job for him I’d say. Name: Daniel Bromley DB: We are dealing with it really well. It’s really fun to get to more racing events. Hopefully I’ll get to go to more Pro Age: 13 Supercrosses. Hometown: Warrington, PA CT: What are your plans for next season and beyond? DB: Next year I’ll be riding a 250 and a 450. My goal is to do really well in Daytona and at the Nationals in Illinois, and Classes you race: 200B, 125 & 250 most importantly no broken bones. Bikes you race: KTM 200, KTM125, RM250, RMZ250 CT: That’s definitely the plan every year. Any other hobbies besides racing? Girlfriend? Goals for the rest of the year: Try my DB: I like to play football and soccer. As for the girlfriend, I’m working on it! best at the AMA Nationals in July and CT: Girls are bad news, but you gotta have them! Do you have a favorite hare scramble track? Favorite Dirt Track? Least favorites? finish well for the rest of the year in D6 DB: I like Foot of the Mountain because it’s a rocky hare scramble track. Duquoin Half Mile is my favorite dirt track. and the PA State Hare Scramble Series. Least favorite would be Path Valley or Shippensburg. Sponsors: Bromley Motorcycle Sales, Lancaster CT: Shippensburg is definitely not a fun track, I can agree. What do you do as far as training Harley Davidson, BP Promotions, Motion and getting ready for the season and also staying in shape during the season? Pro, Spy, Moose, Thor, Wiseco, 65 Racing DB: Two to three times a week I run around my neighborhood, which is about 1.5 miles. In the summer I swim and just stay active.
