MRA is on the grow and we look forward to next year. We have a lot of irons in the fire all designed to provide better race coverage for you the local amateur racer. Our area of the country is a hot bed for both amateur and national events alike. 2004 will bring an Amateur Regional Qualifier to Doublin Gap. Another GNCC and a National Hare Scramble to Rausch Creek. The BP State Hare Scramble Series is stepping up with over $ 50,000.00 in contingencies and we have a 21 race Championship MX Series that includes both motorcycles and quads for next year. Traci Cecco

What a great talent, MRA had the opportunity to interview Traci Cecco at Round 1 of the 2004 District 7 Hare Scramble Series at Tomahawk MX Park in Hedgesville, WV. Tracci, a PA native has been racing quads for 7 years now and is a great success story. After just 2 short years of district racing Traci decided to pursue the GNCC Championship series and has come up a winner 3 out of the last 5 years in competition. Traci has won the championship in 2000, 2001 and again this year in 2003, in 1999 and 2002 she finished in the 2nd spot. This year Traci finished in the top 10 overall in 10 of the 13 rounds on her way to victory. After the mid season break she came back strong on her Team Alba Yamaha YFZ, the championship was in site but she had to win 3 out of the last 4 rounds, a tough chore for any competitor on the grueling GNCC courses. It went right down to the wire, Traci won the last three races of the season and once again was crowned womens champion. Watch for Traci again next year, she has Team Alba behind her and she’s headed right back to chase another GNCC title. – Jim Bull, MRA

We were at Doublin Gap back in October and the youngest of the Blettner Boys got the first win of his career. Dalton pulled the holeshot in both motos in the 50cc oil injected class, held on for the wins and took 1st overall. This kid is hot, I’ve also watched this young man get his start just last season and he’s already worked his way to the podium. Way to go Dalton, it must be all those sponsors. Families Top Field at Path Valley ST Finale By Len Breech Photos by Ben Breech SPRING RUN, PA. OCT. 11
Although not billed as such, the final short track of the season in the mid-Atlantic area held at Path Valley Speedway was “Family Night”. Three families won three finals each; the Heiser’s with Steve winning the 40 +, son Cassidy holding off Kyle Schlimme for the 65 win and stepson, Travis Sennett topping the 500 2 Valve on their Action Motor Sports sponsored rides. The Battlefield Harley-Davidson/ BRP/Metroracing.com/Zechamn’s Cycle sponsored Baer’s had Uncle Dallas topping the 30 +, brothers Shawn and Evan winning the 750 and 85 (7-11), respectively. The Texter’s, out of Lancaster Harley Davidson, took both 100 finals, with Shayna in the Stock and Cory in the Modified, while Shayna also topped the 85 (12-15) final. The last motorcycle was held on a rare sunny, rain-free weekend for this track that had a habit 1st, 67A Cassidy Heiser battles with of having rain in the forecast or nearby almost all season. 2nd, 72 Kyle Schlimme For Steve Heiser, he had to fight his way from third starting spot, behind Lance Stauffer and Joe Dohm. He slipped under Dohm as they started the second lap and took the lead heading into three on the sixth lap. Cassidy traded the lead of the 65 final with Kyle Schlimme several times before Cassidy took the lead for good on the fourth lap, winning by two lengths. Sennett trailed Jim Chapman for most of the 500 2 Valve final, occasionally getting beside the crafty veteran. As they started the final lap, Sennett executed a perfect ‘in-high-out-low’ move to take the lead and hold it to the flag. For the Baer’s, Dallas trailed Eric Rausch at the start, with Damian Kocovinos and Rich Mellinger following. Mellinger moved into third on the fourth lap, while Baer took the lead off the fourth turn on the fifth lap and held on for the win. Evan gated second behind Brett Pugh with Chris MacCarty, Tyler Kidwell and Hayden Avery right behind. With Pugh riding his best race of the season, held off Baer’s repeated attempts at the lead until they came off the second turn on the seventh lap, when Baer took the lead. With the Nationals over, several local pros showed up. In the 600 A, recently crowned Rookie of the Year, Raun Start of 40 + final: 1st, 7A Steve Heiser; Wood, put his Scott Powersports Rotax into the lead with Shawn Baer and Ricky Winsett closely followed. Baer stayed right 2nd, 17 Lance Stauffer; 3rd, 38A Joe Dohm with him to the end, while Winsett fell on the final turn. The Sportsman class returned a little later with another player, John Lewis. Showing no effects from his low side, Winsett put his Patriot Harley Davidson in the lead, with Wood, Lewis and Baer behind. Winsett held a ‘safe’ three-length margin, while Lewis’ pounding paid off on the seventh lap when Wood drifted high, he took second. The 250 A had Chris Klinefelter finally getting a good start, in the lead, with Baer, Lewis and Doug Reinert behind. But Lewis had his ABBA Systems/Bromley Cycles Honda flying and took second off two on the fourth lap, and took the lead in the same spot on the final lap. Jonathan Jordan closed out his Amateur year with another double win in the 250 and 600 B classes. In the 250, he took the lead from Vince Bower, Brandon Robinson and Cory Texter. Robinson got one of his better starts on his Honda, and took second by the end of the opening lap, and heavily pressured Jordan over the last half of the race. Bower had slipped back to sixth by the third lap, with Austin Greenland getting by Texter for third at the end of the fourth lap. While there were fewer riders in the 600 B final, Jordan had a harder time. He gated third behind Texter, R. J. Hart and in front of Nick Henderson. It took him to the start of the fourth lap to take the lead from Texter as they entered the first turn. Once in front, he put several lengths on Texter. Robinson had a fairly easy time winning the 125 final over Greenland.

Dirt track or flat track racing is a form of motorcycle racing that’s been around for decades, for that matter so are some of the machines that these weekend warriors are racing. In a time when factory motorcycles that can be bought right off the showroom floor from your local dealer are as close to a production race bike as you can get. These same weekend warriors still cut and weld frames from all different eras, they’ll take a brand new motorcycle they just paid their hard earned dollars for and yank the engine right out of it to shove in the same champion frame they’ve been racing for years. What happens to the rest of the bike? Who knows, maybe it gets shoved in the corner of the garage for some future project, maybe it gets sold for parts to some other non ‹ factory engineer. Maybe a MX guy comes along as says hey man, I’ll stick my 1982 CR480 engine in that baby. It doesn’t really matter I guess, the important thing is that these flat track racers are enjoying what they love to do most, getting together on a weekend and racing motorcycles. That brings us to a group of guys that do just that. Most of them have been friends for, well probably decades. Some of them have sons that they are exposing the sport that they love to. Some of them raced years ago and stopped for one reason or the other, then found the passion again and are now back at it. Don Hughes for example did some racing in his early years then stopped for a while, then at the age of 51 said hey guys, lets go racing. Then you have a guy like Steve Heiser, Steve has been racing motorcycles in one form or the other pretty much all of his life, now he and his son Cassidy and his step son Travis spend most race days together at the track. Then there’s Mark Stambaugh, Mark has rode for years again with Steve Heiser and Joe Dohm, the three of them have spent years riding together along with the late Paul Crumling of Pro Plates. They were known as the four hombres or something like that. Mark never really competed in a sanctioned event until a few years ago. Check out his profile, he’s doing quite well for a rookie racer. And Joe Dohm is another one of those guys that raced for a while, then got out of it, Joe’s back strong with a couple championships under his belt this season. The last two racers on the Dirt Track Team are John Yurejefcic and his son Eric. John is a life long motorcycle guy. I’ll bet John’s been around motorcycles and racing since the day he was born, both his father and mother were A Class enduro racers. John has worked in the business all of his life in one facet or the other, he’s raced in all forms of motorcycle racing as well and held a pro license during the 70’s. Again, John stepped away for a while, but I’ve found in most cases once the racing is in your blood, forget it. A few years ago the passion grabbed John once again and it was off to the track with his buddies. This time John also has a sibling to take along to share the joy with, his son Eric has joined the ranks and is earning his wings on the flat track circuit. This group of friends working together, racing together, having fun together and winning championships together. They share the same interests and hobbies, they ride each others bikes when there’s a mechanical problem, they pull this engine out of that frame and bore it out and move it over here. They’re lifelong friends riding out of the same shop enjoying a sport that some motorcycle enthusiasts know little about. Flat track racing hasn’t gotten the media attention or the factory support that it did in years past, but flat track racing is a great way to hang out with your friends and family and have a blast. It’s a great way to meet new friends and share good times with old. It’s a great way to build family relationships that last and it’s something that every motorcycle rider owes to themselves to investigate. This group of guys riding under the ‘Action Motorsports’ banner have had quite a year. There’s over 100 years of racing experience here and it shows, just about everyone on the team has won a #1 plate of some sort this year. There is a lot of time and planning that goes into an effort like this, and there are a lot of people behind the scenes that help out tremendously. The Dirt Track Team would like to offer their congratulations and thanks to the Greenland Family from Spring Mills, PA . Austin Greenland is part of the extended AMS Team and has several of his own championships this year. Special thanks goes out to Richard Reily of Fredericktown Yamaha for the loaner of a 750 machine that was a big help this year. The AMS Team would like to thank Deanna Graham of Tiger Plates for her support, and a big thanks to John Yurejefcic Sr. and Diane Shultz for traveling to the races and supporting the team. They would like to thank their wives and girlfriends and mothers for supporting their love of racing and to anyone else we forgot, we apologize, your efforts are greatly appreciated. In closing I would like to thank all the crew from the AMS Team for their time and their efforts to help promote the sport of motorcycle racing. They are a great group of people and their dedication shows. To everyone else thanks for taking the time to read their story and as I mentioned before, do yourself a favor and check out the sport of Flat Track Racing, you’ll be glad you did. Jim Bull MRA

PR2 Signs Team Suzuki’s Dan Sani
ATCO SUPER MX PARK on the grounds of the Atco Raceway in Berlin, NJ was the site for the 18th and final round of the D-6 Points Championship series of 2003. The weather was fantastic for late November and there was a good crowd on hand to witness the conclusion of the D-6 points season. Don the D-6 webmaster had done a great recap called “Down To The Wire” prior to the event detailing the final championship possibilities. Some of the class titles were all wrapped up and then there were still a few on the line. Everybody must have been fairly content with where they stood, next to nothing had changed after the dust had settled on the days events. A few of the youth classes saw 2nd and 3rd place changes, but the champions remained. Check out Dons report at www.amadistrict6.com to see your class champions for 2003. Next years series includes a 21 race schedule with both ATCO and Mt. Pleasant getting two points races instead of one and there is a new facility Miles Mountain located in the northern tier of the state picking up one event. MRA would like to thank ATCO for hosting some great events this year and for putting a new spin on with the Saturday Night events. Jim Bull MRA

DOUBLIN GAP MX – October 25-26, 2003
On October 25th Doublin Gap hosted their annual family fun day and awards picnic. Racers needed to attend at least seven races at Doublin Gap this year to participate and preˆregistration was required. In addition to class champion awards, the folks at Doublin Gap gave awards for perfect attendance and for special achievements thru out the year. Supercross trips were given away as well as suspension and motor work from PR2 Racing Technologies and MX gear from Rossini Racing Products. MRA was unable to attend this great event this year so if there are any other sponsors I failed to mention I do apologize. Attendees were able to bring along their bikes and get some practice time in before the race on the following day. In speaking with Rod Yentzer from Doublin Gap, he asked that we thank all of the riders that make their events so great. He asked that we thank all of their sponsors that make race days possible and all of his staff that come out on the weekends and give their time so that we all have a place to race. Keep an eye on Doublin Gaps schedule for next season, In addition to their North East Classic and Yamaha Amateur National Events, Doublin Gap will also play host to an Amateur North East Regional next year. Some dates have changed from their usual schedule so stay tuned to MRA and watch their website at www.doublingap.com . MRA would like to thank the Yentzers for their hospitality this year in having us to their events and we would like to thank all of the Doublin Gap racers for supporting us and being open to what we do, until next season. Hare Scramble November 16, 2003
A day of firsts, in mid November MRA made its first trip to Tomahawk MX in Hedgesville, WV to attend the first District 7 Points Race on their 2004 Hare Scramble schedule. It was the first race that Steve Green KTM Racer Steve Green leads the A Class attended as the new D-7 Hare Scramble repreinto the first turn sentative and he finished first in the A class. It was the first Hare Scramble in District 7 that we have attended and it was the first day that we met Chad Gochenour, owner of the Tomahawk Facility. What a cool place, Tomahawk is located in the hills of West Virginia just a short distance off of Route 81. They play host to a natural terrain motocross course that has an uphill grass start that winds its way up and down hills thru the woods and over fields.(no its not a song) They have a supercross course on site that they use occasionally the night before a D-7 youth and womens points event. Then they have their hare scramble course that encompasses part of their motocross track and works its way thru the over 100 acres that Tomahawk has at their disposal. Speaking with the owner of Tomahawk, Chad Gochenour and Hare Scramble Rep, Steve Green they both expressed the fact that changes have been made at Tomahawk to make the course more user friendly for B and C class riders and that even more changes are The second wave headed into the first turn in the works for the coming year to attract new riders to Tomahawk. They really do have an excellent lay out for Hare Scramble racing but the degree of difficulty has #231 Joe Nelson takes home been high at past events and the Senior Class win Chad along with his staff are making every effort to accommodate as many riders as possible. Camping is available at #20 Matthew Jones wins the 200 C Tomahawk and hot Class with a 15th overall eats are available thanks to Chads parents Pete and Brenda serving up the hamburg barbecue out of the RV. The whole staff down at Tomahawk treated us like family, I would like to extend our thanks to Bruce in the sign up shack for helping with results and to the gang over at the barrels, they were a big help in identifying riders for us. All the riders were great and again very friendly. Check out Steve Greens article at www.amadistrict7.com for a recap of todays race and the results are located right here in the pages of MRA along with some great racing action shots. Be Rob Hertz was your A class and overall sure to view complete event photos at www.mcracingaction.com. winner on the day – Jim Bull MRA

D-7 Expert Points Race – October 19, 2003 Sponsored by JT Motorsports with Yamaha contingency. What a day, beautiful weather and 8 lap motos. Happy Ramblers put on a D-7 expert points race and did it in typical Ramblers fashion. The day ran smooth with lots of great racing action and a great crowd on hand. D-6 racer Jeremy Cook showed up and claimed 6 motos worth of Expert wins, other expert winners on the day included Jason Conlon, Jeff Grove and Ken Messerman. Not that all of these motos were won unchallenged, this is the time of year when your eligible B class riders start bumping up to get a taste of what’s to come for next season. Believe me; we are all in store for some great expert racing action in the new season. I’d like to thank the Happy Ramblers Motorcycle Club and all of the D-6 and D-7 racers that we had a chance to hang out with this season at Ramblers. You all have made 2003 a great season of racing and we look forward to seeing you at the track next year. – Jim Bull MRA

Tis the season... for a rebuild. Reactive Suspension By Andy Fleck & Al Carr
www.reactive-suspension.com Well another season has come and gone, so what's next? Well if you plan on keeping your current race bike for another year you need to plan on rebuilding the engine. Mini's and 125's absolutely need this done at least once a year, 250's every two to three years. An engine rebuild consists of replacing all the stressed components, these include the main bearings, main seals, connecting rod assembly (or crankshaft assembly) and piston and rings. It's also a good idea to replace the water pump seals as well. The reason I stressed the mini's and 125's is that these engines have to rev high to make horsepower, around 12000 RPM as opposed to say a 250 (2 stroke) which peaks at about 9000. Any engine that revs high (250F owners take note) put a lot of stress in the engine components which all have a finite life span. Each component is designed to satisfy a certain number of cycles at which point it should be replaced failure to do so can have drastic and costly results. Pistons run past their service life will develop cracks on their skirts, usually the intake side as this is the thrust side and takes the most load. When a skirt breaks off the pieces can take out the cylinder as well as fall into the crankcase locking up the motor and causing further damage to the cases themselves. The crank assembly can either be rebuilt or replaced, check prices for rebuilding as opposed to replacement. Rebuilding a crankshaft will generally run $90. for the conn. rod assembly plus about $35. to $45. labor. This price does not include tearing the motor down to remove the crankshaft. Tear down and re-assembly should run no more than $200. for a 2-stroke and $300. to $350. for a 4-stroke. Honda is the only company that for some models sells a resonably priced crankshaft assembly in fact they usuallydon't sell the component parts. There are aftermarket companies that do sell conn. rod kits for Hondas but Honda crankshafts are delicate to rebuild and great care should be exercised when doing so, we have a special jig that allows us to rebuild these cranks as good as new. We always check the price of a new crank as opposed to rebuilding to see which will best serve our customer. FYI, a rebuilt crank is just as good as a new one. Connecting rods are continuously stressed, at top dead center the piston is trying to rip the rod in two and at bottom dead center its trying to crush the rod between the wrist pin and big end pin. I have seen rods that have been run too long that have snapped in two. The piston and half the rod still attached to it will smash into the cylinder head while the rod half still attached to the crank will do its best imitation of some demonic weed whacker and rip the engine cases to bits. This is an extreme case as crank failure is more commonly due to the big end bearing failing. The big end bearing also referred to as the rod bearing is a caged needle roller and is located in the bottom end of the rod. The bearing doesn't spin at a constant speed but rather stops spinning at top dead center and bottom dead center. To avoid "skidding" as the bearing decelerates the bearing cage is made from a very light material and it is this that is usually the weak link. At some point the cage will begin to break up. If the needle rollers get out of position the bearing will bind up and seize. Sometimes pieces of the cage will break out of the rod and follow the intake charge up through the transfers into the combustion chamber, this will result in damage to the piston and cylinder head. The main bearings carry the crankshaft and it is the constant cyclical loading that eventually brings them to the end of their service life. In most cases the cages fracture allowing the balls to get out of position and the bearings to seize. As with all anti-friction bearings it is nearly impossible to tell when they are about to fail this is why a regular replacement interval should be employed to maintain engine reliability. As a rule of thumb whenever the crank is rebuilt or replaced the main bearings and seals are replaced at the same time. Anyone trying to squeeze another season out of a bottom end on a mini or 125 is riding a grenade with the pin out. Oh sure it can be done but if you are wrong the results can be catastrophic. No serious racer should ever start a race season on a worn bottom end. Rebuilding will not only give you a reliable engine but also you will be shocked at how much better the bike runs and feels, it truly is amazing. Now unlike 2-strokes a 4-strokes service life is a bit longer, this is due mainly to the fact that they have an abundance of oil lubricating all their component parts, but this should in know way be construed to mean that they don't need rebuilding from time to time. Check your service manual for recommended procedures for determining their service requireAl Carr Andy Fleck ments. Reactive is a full service rebuild facility for all 2 and 4 stroke engines, if you are interested we can give you a quote on the cost and time to thoroughly rebuild and prep your engine for the coming season, give us a call, we want to make your next season a successful one.

On Oct 12, Piston Poppers opened it’s gates on one of the few
The 12 hours of ATV America, is quickly becoming the nations premiere ATV race. The race which was run on October 25th in Ft. Dodge, IA is a 12 hour race which is run over varying terrain consisting of Motocross sections, TT sections, Cross country sections and Sand sections. With the Pro purse being over $30,000 dollars it attracts the top Pro riders from all over the country. Race teams consist of three riders who will pound their machines without mercy for 12 hours, with the race being divided up into two 6-hour sessions. That is the equivalent of running six GNCC’s in a row!
sunny weekends this year for a great day of motorcycle scramble racing. Located just east of the route 30 and route 10 intersection, Piston Poppers is a dirt track which holds 4 scrambles events each year. Approximately 800 spectators and an almost record number of entries, 196, signed up to tackle the twisty course. The weather was excellent and there were few accidents and no serious injuries.
The race started on the TT section of the track, which consisted of 4th and 5th gear sweepers and several long straits. With riders lined up about 50’away from their quads in a “Lemans start” you had to sprint across the track to your quad. What a thrill it was going through the first couple of turns with 67 other quads. Being that we were in the Industry class, team Rausch Creek (Michael McDonald, Brian Bender, Justin Buffington) started the race from near the tail end of the line up. As it turned out this was great fun as the Honda 250R with its LRD 330 power made it easy to pass in the fast sections. The R would reel in almost everything else on the track, reeling them in like a shark going in for the kill. This was however a double-edged sword with the power turning on and off like a light switch. Anyone who has had the opportunity to ride one of these beasts’s can attest to what it’s like trying to hang on.
Among the field were a large number of AMA Grand National Championship regulars including the 2003 AMA Grand National Rookieof-the-Year John Raun Wood and 2003 FUSA national event winner and 2002 AMA 883 Champion Jared Mees. Other nationally ranked riders including AMA National event winner, Rev’n Kevin Varnes, Mike Varnes, Ken Yoder, Roy Miller, Shawn Baer, Rick Winsett and Don Mullen were on hand and did battle throughout the day. The fans were treated to some competitive racing with the local contingent really challenging the pros throughout the day. There were plenty of classes and a wide range of bikes competing, enough to keep anyone happy. The results of the amateur classes are posted below.
Bill Balance took the early lead for team GT Thunder (Bill Balance, Brandon Balance, Johnny Gallagher) with Team Walsh Race Craft (Mike Walsh, Dana Creech, Jasmin Plante) and Team Hiper Wheels (Chris Borich, Matt Smiley, Mike Krachun) following close behind. After the first couple of laps the soft Iowa soil quickly went from being smooth to having 2-foot high ruts in the turns and started to form breaking and acceleration bumps on the straits. It didn’t take much imagination to think what the track was going to be like in 12 hours. GT Thunder led the first six laps until an axle nut came off and they had to get towed in. Team Hiper wheels then took over the lead for the next five laps until Team Walsh Race Craft overtook them on lap 12 and held the lead until the end of the first session. One of the great features of this track was that it had multiple option lanes while going through the woods sections to enable passing. I thought this was a great idea and they were very well executed in that both lanes were very close in time even though they were usually very different in layout. These lanes were very useful when overtaking or being overtaken by a faster rider. It was also quite a thrill to be out on the track with such great Pro riders such as Bill and Brandon Balance, Jeremiah Jones, Chris Borich, Matt Smiley, Jason Dunkelberger, Mike Krachun and Rob Hertz. I also learned how truly fast this country’s top women’s riders are. I was passed by both Traci Cecco (Woman’s GNCC Champ) and Angela Moore (Woman’s GNC Champ) of the Alba Action Girls team and I applaud these talented racers who are truly great athletes and should be recognized as such. Team JNJ (Jeremiah Jones, Nate Frees, Jason Dunkelberger) charged hard all day long and closed to within three minutes of Team Hiper wheels but a broken wheel bearing sidelined them with only 20 minutes left in the race relegating them to 6th place. Team Hyper wheels took the holeshot and never looked back in the second session. Their first place overall earned them a $10,400 dollar payout. Team Walsh Race Craft departed from the race early in the second session with a cracked engine case. Team JB racing ran consistently at the front of pack all day long and their hard work paid off with a second place overall finish and a $6,300 payout. Team JPMX (Josh Starrett, Jeremy Lawson, Chris Gary) finished 3rd and received a $3,500 payout. Team GT Thunder rode hard all day long and came back from 14th place to finish 5th. Winning the A class was Troy racing (Stephanie Parton, Adam Howell, William Howell) with the B class win going to White River Racing (Gregg Alms, Gabe Ellett, Lee Pannell). Penland Brothers Racing(Mike Penland, Scott Kilby, Marcus Gonzalez) won the Utility class and Rausch Creek Motorsports won the Industry class.

12 Hours of ATV America
Due to the large rider turn out, several qualifying heats were required in most classes to determine the starting grid positions and riders for the main events. The Piston Poppers staff did an excellent job of getting the schedules together and running a near flawless race allowing completion of all the main events prior to darkness setting in. Piston Poppers has another exciting schedule of events in 2004 with Sunday races on May 16, June 13, September 19 and October 17. The races don’t start until after lunch so be sure to stop out and see some exciting motorcycle races.

It was great to see so many of the new Yamaha’s in the race and I’m certain that next year will see many of the new Honda TRX450R’s as well. With what these manufacturers are building today it is very obvious how much this sport has grown over the last few years and with races like the 12 hours of ATV America this sport is going to continue to reach never before seen heights. I would like to encourage other quad riders to attend and support this great race, as it is a truly unique event. Rausch Creek would like to thank John Pellan for doing a great job and putting on such a great event. We would also like to thank Kevin Mummah from Lost Creek Cycles, Tony Kellner, and the Natalie family.
Austin Greenland - 2003 A.M.A. Sportsman of the Year On Saturday night November 22, 2003 12 year old Austin Greenland from Spring Mills, PA was in attendance at the A.M.A. Pro Racing Championship Awards Banquet in Las Vegas, Nevada to be recognized for winning the Grand National Championship in the 85cc DTX 9-13 division for 2003. Austin, getting a little fidgety in his black tuxedo while waiting for his award got the surprise of his young but successful racing career. To everyone‚s surprise, by unanimous decision the next award goes to Austin Greenland: 2003 A.M.A. Sportsman of the Year - awarded for Acts of Exceptional Sportsmanship While In The Heat Of Competition. Austin, congratulations from MRA and the Action Motorsports Dirt Track Team, wear the award proudly, you certainly deserve it. – Jim Bull MRA
