Boyesen Engineering has taken their cooling technology to the Yamaha YZF 250. The Boyesen Water Pump Cover and Impeller, part numbers WPC-37 and WPI-37, are available for the 2001-2002 YZF 250. Boyesen Covers are available in Silver Vein, Black, and Aluminum finishes. In a coolant flow comparison test, the Boyesen cover and impeller flowed 34.2% more at low RPM’s, 21.7% at mid-RPM’s, and at high RPM’s flowed 19.6% more coolant than stock.
