The Sixth Form Term 1 2014-15

Welcome! Welcome to the first Sixth Form newsletter of the year! The Officer/Ambassador Team

This is just a quick way of keeping you up to date with events in the Sixth Form over the coming year – it doesn’t cover everything but it gives you a flavour of what has been going on! Thank you for coming in record numbers to our Sixth Form Open Evening, we hope you found the event helpful. It was a great summer with the Mr Sage’s fantastic Wellsway Challenge that took place in the Pyrenees, and then it was straight into it on the first day of Term 1 with the second part of enrolment for Year 12 and 13, and then onto the Year 12 Icebreaker event the following day (thanks to all for getting so involved!) The Officers and Ambassadors have been busy as well, helping organise a trip to CERN and run the Year 11 Sixth Form Mega-Quiz as well as planning events such as the forthcoming Children in Need Concert where the school will get to see lots of students and staff making fools of themselves onstage – all for charity! I hope you have had a great start to the new academic year! Mr Bray, Director of Sixth Form
