By RACHEL FENNER THIS warm Dawesville home is ideal for a young family or a great down-sizer for retirees – it has three bedrooms, a semi-ensuite bath and can fit two cars in the carport, with further space for a boat or caravan. It is on the estuary side of Dawesville and is close to the ocean. The home was built in Federation style with a green colour scheme featuring in the garden and the house’s interior. A cheery entrance opens onto a tiled entryway with a small step down into the sunken formal lounge room. The formal lounge is a lovely space that overlooks the front garden and the bushland verge across the road. This room leads into a kitchen area, which includes a new oven, cream laminate benches and tiles. An open kitchen faces out into the dining and living room areas,

with room for a dining set, big family television and lounge. The living room also features easy-clean tiled floors and a tile fire in front of a decorative feature wall. The main bedroom has built-in mirrored robes and semi-ensuite. Ducted airconditioning flows throughout the home, the window dressings are neutral and light fittings are modern. The highlight of this home is the reticulated back garden with its shady patio, leafy palms in the raised garden bed and a verdant trellis.
