Not-so-humble place to call home Quick sale of luxury apartments puts the attitude in Latitude 31. By CARMELLE WILKINSON SUBIACO has cemented itself as a prominent shopping, restaurant and fashion hub, and now it has quickly become ‘the’ place to call home. Sales for new apartment complex Latitude 31 have proven its popularity, with Equinox selling seven of the 12 apartments within a few days of listing. Agent Alison Johnstone told Residential she was thrilled to see the resurgence and confidence in “off the plan” sales as this showed renewed confidence in the future of the Perth property market. “The buyers ranged from professional couples, single people looking for their first home, investors and even a couple who were looking for a Perth city pad for occasional use,’’ she said. “I sold seven one-bedroom apartments with study and two penthouses with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large balconies.” Alison said buyers could choose from a variety of different interiors, including high quality choices like bamboo floors and stone bench tops. Iconic Floreat flair This stylishly renovated ’60s home has quality fixtures, solar-passive design and an award-winning outdoor space, writes JANE EVANS I LOVE homes from the 1960s.
