New neighbours for Minim Cove
Cove landscape facelift

Landscape artist John Tuzee will transform Mt Lyell Park into a diverse, colourful and sustainable environment. “We faced a big challenge with the initial landscaping of the site, as there are many restrictions on the types of plants that can be used,’’ he said. “One of the biggest constraints is the lack of water – there is simply not enough available to irrigate the entire site. “Minim Cove’s location also plays a role. Because of its close proximity to the coast, we need to ensure we use wind-resistant and alkaline and salt tolerant plants, such as the coastal daisy, purple flag and coastal salt bush.’’ Mr Tuzee said the selection of plants he has chosen for the area will visually enhance the landscape and endure exposure to the elements for many years to come. Planting is expected to start in winter next year.

More canal development land set for Exmouth Developers aim to tap into the waterfront appeal of the Pilbara’s playground with the release of extra lots.
