Time to Plant Now – Natures time to plant Autumn to Spring is the most important time in the gardening calendar. Older gardeners know the wisdom of planting this time of year. Trees and bushes are fully dormant usually from November straight through to midApril, which gives them time to settle in nicely without too much stress, making it the perfect time to plant. By planting now, you are planting in the cooler time of the year, and you get root growth that will be ready to take up water and nutrients when our spring temperatures increase. When leaves unfurl and expand, the increased roots are better able to access food and nutrients, and the stress of transplanting is drastically reduced. We work with the finest nurseries to bring you the latest plant editions as well as some very rare and hard to find varieties. This year we have some exciting new shrub , rose and perennial introductions . Our new Persian roses are a gardener’s dream , these award-winning roses tick all the boxes for a gardener , heavenly scented, repeat flowering, mildew resistant and a neat compact shrub-like form that works well with other garden shrubs and perennials . Working with one of the world’s top breeders we are pleased to offer for the first time this a wonderful collection of double Helleborus to light
