Andy the Alligator and Penny the Piranha By Andy and Jordan One sunny hot day in the mossy river, Andy the Alligator was swimming through the cool river. Penny the Piranha was also swimming and looking for a nice friend to play with. Suddenly, Penny the Piranha spotted Andy the Alligator. Penny the Piranha said, do you want to be friends? Andy said, yes.


Next, Penny the Piranha asked Andy the Alligator, Do you want to come to my house and hang out? Andy the Alligator said, yes, I will. Then, they swam to Penny’s nice house. Andy and Penny played with many toys. Andy the Alligator said, let’s play baseball. So, they played baseball and Andy the Alligator hit a homerun. Finally, Penny the Piranha and Andy the Alligator had a sleepover. While Penny the Piranha was sleeping, Andy the Alligator was playy8ing with Penny’s iPhone 5. Andy broke it and tried to hide it. In the morning,


Penny found the broken iPhone 5 and knew it was Andy the Alligator’s fault it was broken. So, they never were friends again. Moral: Do not attempt to hid things that cannot be hid.


Cathey Cat and Daisey Dog By Piper and Lanna There were two magnificent friends named Cathy Cat and Daisy Dog. Cathy Cat was beautiful and nice. Daisy Dog was also beautiful but had a little attitude. They were playing Cops and Robbers in the Platte City neighborhood in the dark. It was Daisy Dog’s turn to be the grumpy cop and Cathy Cat’s turn to be the sneaky robber. Who would steal the dog treats? Daisy Dog got grumpy because she wanted to be the sneaky robber.


Then, they got in a tremendous fight because Cathy Cat said, you have to take turns! Then Daisy Dog said, I’ll never be your marvelous friend again! Finally, Daisy Dog came back and asked if Cathy Cat would play Cops and Robbers. Cathy Cat said, NO! Cathy Cat said no because Daisy Dog said that she would never be her friend ever again! Moral: Don’t kid around about not being friends.


Don Dog, Pinky Piglet , and Foxie the Fox by Alexis and Emma It was the beginning of spring and Don the dog was laying on his comfortable bed because it was as hot as a fire flame. He was on a farm called The Animal Farm. The farm was close to the woods. Pinky the Piglet was eating her marvelous food. A mean red fox named Foxie walked by the old farm. She asked Pinky to come for a lovely dinner. Pinky loved the idea.


Pinky walked over to Foxie’s house expecting nothing. But once Pinky came inside she asked where’s the amazing food? Don the dog walked by Foxies old house and saw Pinky. He screamed because he was worried Pinky was going to be eaten. He immediately rushed into Foxie’s small house and grabbed Pinky and shouted, Foxie wants to EAT YOU! Moral: Look before you leap!


Dots the Dog and Cutles the Cat By Ava and Makenzie Once on a hot summer day in Mansion Valley there were two nice best friends who lived in two different huge Mansions. Their names were Dots the dog and Cutles the cat. One hot sweating day, Dots went over to Cutles’s huge Mansion for a swimming play date. Dots the dog was really excited to come over to Cutles the Cat’s dazzling Mansion.


Then, Dots the dog wanted everything in the enormous pool and Cutles leaped out of the enormous pool. Now Cutles got furious and never want to be friends again because Dots wanted everything in the pool. Dots felt like she should say sorry because she took everything in the pool. Finally they both said sorry and learned a valuable lesson. Whoever wants everything‌loses it all.


Elle the Elephant and Mimi the Monkey! By: Rhiane and Ella One HOT, HOT, HOT summer day Elle the Elephant was playing ball with her older sister. The ball was VERY bouncy and it went so far up, it was out of sight! It ended up on Mimi the Monkey’s head. She fell off her tree and caught herself before she bumped her head.


Elle the Elephant went to try to seek the blue, sparkly, bouncy ball. She found it hidden in the coconut tree of the Magical Jungle while Mimi the Monkey was having a banana and sparkly peach tea. Mimi the Monkey found that blue, sparkly, bouncy ball and was about to bounce the ball out of the tree when Elle the Elephant was looking up the Coconut tree. Mimi the Monkey tried to come down, but she fell out and found out there was a cut on her knee. So they got a Hello Kitty Band-Aid and put it on together.


“Hi” said Elle the Elephant. “I am Elle the Elephant. What is your name?” “My name is Mimi the Monkey” The two new friends that were the same age had a banana, peanuts, peach tea, and a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moral:Equals make the best of friends!!!!!!!


Flappy the Fish and Shagy the Shark By; Zac and Jaron Once upon a time, Flappy the Fish was in the hot Pacific Ocean along the coral reef, swimming and looking for mini, minnows. While he was looking for minnows, he saw Shagy the Shark spying on him. Then he got really scared and ran away! Then Flappy the Fish went to his awesome big house and pulled out his secret writing journal. He wrote some stuff in it like things he didn’t like


about Shagy. Then he wrote stuff that he liked about Shagy. Then Shagy snuck up on Flappy again and saw what Flappy was writing in his important writing journal. Then Flappy turned around and got scared and said, Mind your own business, stalker. Then Shagy swam away laughing. Giggle giggle. After that their friendship was broken up. Moale;Every man should mind his own business.


Flipper the Dolphin , Bluey the whale, and Ellie the Shark By Anja & Lauren In the Pacific Ocean, there was a dolphin named Flipper. She had a very special, shiny treasure. One sunny day, she was swimming down the reef to see her treasure because she LOVED it. But, when Flipper got there, it was GONE! Who could have taken it? She thought.


Then, Bluey the whale came by. Hi, said Bluey, How has your day been? Not so good, said Flipper. Then she thought for a quick moment. What if Bluey took my beautiful treasure? Like last time, he took my yummy, juicy fish, and lied about it. But Bluey had not seen it. Flipper NEVER believed him! Finally, Ellie the big, bad shark came by. Hi, said Ellie! Bluey and Flipper were terrified. Hey! What do you have here? Said Flipper. That looks like my special treasure! Then Bluey YANKED the shiny treasure from big mean Ellie and gave it to Flipper. Now she had her lovely treasure


back! Bluey now knows that no one will believe a liar even when he speaks the truth. The, End Moral of story: No one believes a liar even when he speaks truth.


Frank the Frog and Slimy the Fish By: Meredith and McKanan It was a brilliant warm day in the summer by a dark pond. Frank the Frog and Slimy the Fish were having a race. While Frank the Frog was hopping in the race, his shoe was untied and he didn’t notice it. Slimy the Fish didn’t notice it either. Frank the Frog tripped over his nasty shoe lace while he was hopping and plopped in the dirty pond. He broke his leg and screamed, OW!


Frank the Frog and Slimy the Fish both tried to call for help. Finally, a guy lived right by the pond and heard them. It was Bill. He pulled Frank the Frog out of the dirty water. His leg hurt even more and he hated it. The guy put a frog cast on him and Frank the Frog’s leg didn’t really hurt any more.

The moral of the story is: Look before you leap.


Google the Ground Hog and Billy the Bear By Malie and Kaedon One day in the Foggy Forest Google the Ground Hog and Billy the Bear moved into the new neighborhood. The next day Google and Billy met and became best friends. One day when Billy the Bear and Google the Ground Hog were climbing trees Denis the Deer moved in. The next day when Google and Billy were playing Denis asked to play and Google said NO!


Two weeks later during a beautiful summer day Google saw Billy playing with Denis . It made Google feel dreary and left out. Google wanted to move to a new house but his mom said NO! The next day Google talked to Billy about him playing with Denis. So Billy said Denis was not a bad guy and Google, Billy, and Denis all became best friends and‌they lived happily ever after. Moral: Old friends should not be sacrificed for new friends.


Lulu Monkey and Chacha Koala By; Peyton and Abby Lulu Monkey was hanging on the grass green vines one hot summer day in the jungles of Arica. Then Lulu Monkey heard the

sounds of Chacha Koala. Chacha Koala said in an annoying voice, How many yellow bananas do you have? The next hot summer day, Chacha Koala was having fun roaming around in the hot jungles of Africa. Chacha Koala was thinking about how many yellow bananas Lulu Monkey had when


Lulu Monkey bumped into Chacha Koala. Then Chacha Koala asked if Lulu Monkey was going to tell him how many yellow bananas she had. Then Lulu Monkey said, NO to Chacha Koala. Then it became fall, and Lulu Monkey and Chacha Koala were getting ready for Winter. Lulu Monkey came out of her big coconut hut and went to Chacha Koala’s smoothie hut. When Lulu Monkey walked in she saw Chacha Koala playing video games and said, Can I have a coconut smoothie? Then Chacha Koala said, NO. Then Lulu Monkey asked, How many coconut smoothies do you have? Then Chacha Koala said, NO, I will not tell you how many coconut smoothies I have. Chacha Koala said, Then tell me


how many yellow bananas you have. Then Lulu Monkey said NO. Then Lulu Monkey and Chacha Koala were never friends again. Moral: Every animal should mind it’s own business.


Molly The Monkey, Ally the Gorilla By Jack and Luke Once up on a time there was one monkey and a gorilla. They lived in the jungle and that jungle was deep in a forest. The monkey was a liar and her name was Molly. The gorilla was a nice ape named Ally. Molly was beside her very nice friend named Ally. Ally was gray gorilla. Molly told Ally that there was a snake nearby. Ally actually thought that there was a snake and Ally went crazy for that trick. Molly


played that trick over and over again on Ally. One stormy day, Molly actually saw a hungry python. Her name was Piper. Molly told Ally that there was a snake. Ally did not think that it actually true. Hungry Piper python swallowed wonderful Ally the gorilla.

Moral: No one will believe a liar even when he or she speaks the truth.


Sally the Snail and Frank the Frog By: Demi and Natalie Once upon a time there lived a frog named Frank the Frog and a snail named Sally the Snail. They live in a muddy creek. It was summer. Sally the Snail was walking and not paying attention in the wet park and bumped hard into Frank the Frog. They got into a bad, bad, huge fight and decided to settle it with an amazing race.


The next Sunday, Frank the Frog and Sally the Snail met at the swampy creek. Then later they started the long race. Frank the Frog got so far ahead that Sally the Snail couldn’t see him. Frank the Frog had a picnic by a tree and he took a long nap. Sally the Snail passed Frank the Frog when he was taking a nap and kept on going. Frank the Frog woke up and saw Sally the Snail about to win the race. Then Frank the Frog tried his best to get to the finish line but it was too late because Sally the Snail had already crossed the finish line. Frank the Frog was sad that he didn’t win the race but he had


good sportsmanship. Then Frank the Frog said, �Good race�. Then they lived as friends forever.

Moral: Slow But Steady Wins the Race


SAM CYOTE AND pAYTON FOX By chloe and Camden There once lived a coyote named Sam that was mean and always wanted to race. There was also a red fox that was really nice and her name was Payton. But her tail always tripped her up. They both lived outside in the red woods. Sam Coyote said in the meanest voice, I’m going to race you and I’m going to beat you. Bring it on, said Payton.


So they started racing. Sam Coyote was way ahead. Payton Fox was way behind. So, Sam Coyote went to stop for a snack. Payton Fox kept trying and trying and ended up way ahead. Then, Sam Coyote saw Payton Fox way ahead. And, she started running. Sam heard a small rip that was the sound of Payton fox crossing the finish line!

Moral: Slow and steady wins the race.


Snowy the Horse and Robby the Rabbit By: Thomas and Abby One day on a dusty farm in the flaming summer, Snowy the horse was looking for a friend in the field. Then, Snowy stepped on Robby Rabbit’s paw. Robby got mad at Snowy and wanted to race her. They both agreed to race on the main farm area.


Robby Rabbit left Snowy at the starting line. Snowy caught up with Robby, and Snowy didn’t notice the sharp rock in the field. She stepped on the rock and cut her leg. Finally Robby said, are you okay, and jumped on Snowy. Robby Rabbit knew that she couldn’t race any more, and they never raced again.

Moral: Look before you leap.


The Lazy Lion and the Marvelous Monkey By Dane and Dominick Once upon a time there was a Marvelous Monkey that was good at everything, and a Lazy Lion that was very lazy. Both of them lived in a lush and exotic jungle.

Lazy Lion was sleeping by a tree when all of the sudden he got an invite to Marvelous Monkey’s house to play games. Lazy Lion didn’t want to play with Marvelous Monkey, he was sleeping.


Marvelous Monkey was very sad and felt broken. Lazy Lion felt very, very sorry. So Lazy Lion decided to play with Marvelous Monkey, he was happy again. Marvelous Monkey asked Lazy Lion to swing on vines. Lazy Lion tried to but he was lazy and fell off. Lazy Lion was hurt badly, and he decided it would be best if he didn’t play with Marvelous Monkey anymore. Moral: It is not good for us to desire something that we can never hope to achieve.


The Race Between BabyBear andCompetitive Cheetah By Christian and Hunter Once upon a time in a shady jungle there were Baby Bear and Competitive Cheetah. They were always wondering who was the fastest. They argued about it all the time. Baby Bear’s and Competitive Cheetah’s friends helped set up a bigger race than Tortoise and Hare. This race would settle the argument once and for all. Then, their friends said, Ready! Get set!


Go! So, Baby Bear and Competitive Cheetah took off. Of course, Cheetah was in the lead, running about ninety-five miles per hour. Baby Bear struggled to catch up because he was crawling at about five miles per hour. So, Cheetah decided to take a break because he knew he would win. Cheetah slept, ate, and was thinking about if Baby Bear was like five inches away from the finish line. Cheetah said to himself, ”If Baby Bear is close to the finish line I will run my fastest at a hundred miles per hour to beat him.” Baby Bear passed Cheetah snoozing away . When Cheetah woke up and didn’t see Baby Bear


anywhere, Cheetah had a little snack. Then, Cheetah was off again. Finally, Cheetah saw the finish line. But, Baby Bear was already waiting at the finish line. Cheetah roared, “ Man I can’t believe I lost against Baby Bear .” Now, Baby Bear’ s friends celebrated Baby Bear’s wonderful win. Moral: slow but steady wins the race.


Wally the Whale and the stomach ache By: Lane and Caleb Once there was a cold hungry whale shark named Wally. He lived in the blue Pacific Ocean. He spotted a lot of scared tasty krill swimming in the clear ocean. He decided to have a feast. So he ate a lot of chilly krill. Then cold Wally ate lots of juicy krill and the krill said, stop eating us. I’m so hungry, said Wally. I love eating you guys because you are so juicy.


Next, he spotted some more juicy krill and he ate the delicious krill. He snuck up on the other tasty yummy krill and ate the rest. Also, he found a shiny krill and ate it. Then he had a feeling like a warning. Wally swam to another school of krill and he ate them all. He ate some more and then he got a bad horrible stomach ache. Moral: Eating too much will always give you a stomach ache.


When Ellie the Elegant Elephpant Lost It All By Cole and Colin Once upon a time in a weird jungle there was a wealthy elephant named Ellie the Elegant Elephant. She lived in Seven Bridges. She got everything she wanted. Ellie got a ton of ripe bananas. Alison the alligator and Funky monkey lived across from each other. They lived in New Bedford


Falls. They teased Ellie. Ellie got every single thing the elephant wanted. Funky Monkey and Alison were very mad when Ellie got everything she wanted. Then Funky monkey had a meeting with Alison and planned to steal the bananas. Then went to the elegant house and rang the doorbell. No answer. So they went to the backdoor. The backdoor was always unlocked. They saw the ripe bananas in the elegant kitchen. Then they went in the house and took the bananas.


Ellie woke up from her nap. She saw muddy foot prints and knew they were Funky Monkey’s. Then, Ellie’s face was as red as a tomato. She yelled, Get out of my house! Alison and Funky Monkey aren’t friends with Ellie anymore.

Moral: Whoever wants everything…loses it all.


Ella Elephant and Lazy Lizard By: Preston, Abby, Trevor, Josh, Tyler, Quintin, Trent, Alison, Skylar, Donovan, and Rice

One bright and sunny day, Ella the elephant was roaming around her zoo habitat. Lazy Lizard crawled quickly up to Ella and asked her to play with him. Lazy Lizard wanted to play hide and seek. The lizard scampered


into a dark hole. Poor Ella could not find him for one boring hour. Ella was worried and nervous. Lazy Lizard popped out of the dark hole and told Ella he was BORED! She picked Freeze Tag as their new game to play. When Ella ran, she almost crushed the green lizard’s LONG, stick-like tail. She almost smashed the lizard’s handsome face. The lizard was


furious with Ella the elephant. Poor Ella felt very upset. Finally, Ella Elephant and Lazy Lizard decided that they should NOT play together. Ella Elephant was just too GINORMOUS, and Lazy Lizard just too tiny and quick. Ella Elephant tromped over to play with Ryan Rhino because he was just the right size to be her friend. Lazy Lizard


scampered away to find a new, smaller friend who was just the right size for him. Moral: Equals make the best friends.
