Adult female horses are called mares and adult male horses are called stallions. Three year old horses are old enough to ride. They learn to follow and they can trot and canter.
STAGE 3 YOUNGÂ ADULT
Once a mare has mated she will mostly give birth to her new born foal after 11 months. 3
