STAGE ONE - EGGS The first stage of a lizard is an egg but some lizards are born from there moms belly. Adult lizards can lay up to 8-25 eggs depending upon the species. Green Iguanas lay up to 20-71 eggs. Lizards lay their eggs among leaves or in sandy holes. Eggs are soft and leathery-easy to hatch from. After lizards lay there eggs they leave them, baby lizards can take care of themselves. 2
STAGE TWO -JUVENILE
The second stage of a lizard is a Juvenile it is also called a nymphs. Juvenile lizards have a special egg tooth to break out of the shell. Eggs take from 2 weeks to a few months to hatch from its shell. When the baby lizards hatches it is left to survive on its own.
