我有一隻小狗（Cookey），總是想要往外面去。然而都市裡居家的小狗，很難實現這一點，因為畢竟有 豢養牠們的我們。主人們是不容許自己的小狗無限制的離開自己的。 有一回牠離開家半年。透過其中一個遇到牠的好心人（甚至飼養牠一段時間），我們拼湊出牠最後被揀 回來之前的一些畫面，然而，沒有人知道牠究竟去過了哪裡？ 所以我常常畫這個主題——小狗逃家之旅。 I used to have a puppy dog. His name is Cookey and he has always wanted to go out. It is indeed very hard to do so for a dog raised by city people. Usually dog owners would never allow their dogs out of sight for a long time. Once he left home nearly half a year. Thanks to a kindhearted man, who actually raised him for a period during his roaming, provided us some stories. 後來，Cookey在我回台灣的前幾個月回家了。之後又同我 們一起生活了好久…… 好像在等待下一次逃家的機會似的，牠喜歡在陽台的門邊 看著遠方，然而（門總是關閉…），牠其實看不見什麼 的。牠是原本性情就不開朗的小狗。 雖然那次旅程造成牠許多的疾病，甚至還被不知名的人士 閹掉……但是我們可以感覺得到，離開這個地方對牠而言 很重要，雖然我們大家都愛惜牠…… Afterwards, Cookey returned home couple months before I got back to Taiwan. Then we had lived together for a very long time…It seemed he had awaited perfect chance to escape from home again. He loved to stare into the distance by the balcony door but it was always closed, which means he could not see anything there. He was somehow a gloomy dog in the first place. Although this trip actually caused him suffering from many illnesses after, and even being castrated by a stranger, we still sensed that leaving this place was crucial to him no matter how we treasured him.

在我的認識裡，這狗裡有我。狗裡有我的存在。 客觀來說，這狗自進我家以來，植入晶片內輸入的就是我的名字。不管牠願不願意，或是牠能否知覺到 這一點，牠就與我建立了無法脫離的關係，而其實，我的情況也是一樣。 這樣一層關係，是被第三者透過科技而建立起來的。這對我來說，超過以往所有建立關係的經驗。 有時候我審視著牠，就像審視著一部分的自己，我並非意識到那個晶片上帶有我名字符號的紀錄，而也 非得越過了這一層關係，我們之間才有更多（我與另一個身為狗的我）。 From my understanding, I see myself in this dog.
