Coach Gasner on Lincoln: “Maddy is going to be a great addition to our team next year. As a left-handed pitcher, she brings several unique qualities to the mound and we are extremely excited she chose MSUB. With only three seniors on our team this season, we are really looking for players who will fit well within our program, and I believe that Maddy is a great example of what we are looking for in this recruiting class. She is very coachable and has a great attitude and we are looking forward to her career as a Yellowjacket.” Lincoln on why she chose MSUB: “I chose MSUB because when I visited the campus and town for the first time I felt at home already. All around the campus there were students with welcoming smiles on their faces and I knew I just wanted to be a part of it. Also, MSUB has a very strong education program, which I am excited to study in and find success.” The MSUB softball team opens their 2016 season at the seventh annual Desert Stinger Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev. The tournament hosted by MSUB brings NCAA Division II teams from around the region to Nevada for three days of action.
