Freshman Shaniah Schwend sets the MSUB record in the women’s triple jump at the MSU Open in Bozeman, Mont.
Jorey Egeland wins the 5,000 meters and Garrett Love wins the 10,000 meters for MSUB at the Montana State University Open in Bozeman, Mont, while freshman Shaniah Schwend bests the MSUB record in the triple jump. BOZEMAN, Mont. – Sophomore Jorey Egeland won the men’s 5,000 meter run in 15:53.97 while junior Garrett Love won the men’s 10,000 meter race in 33:40.99 at the Montana State University Open at the track and field center on Saturday. Egeland won the men’s 5,000 meter run in a field of seven competitors. Also, in the 5,000 meters from MSUB, Ivan Colmenero was fourth (16:30.18) and Tyus Mendoza sixth (16:35.52).
