MSUB junior Bailee Dexter is an academic all-district selection for MSUB’s women’s golf team, after holding the top GPA in the GNAC for her sport. BILLINGS, Mont. – Carrying a 3.94 grade point average at Montana State University Billings, junior Bailee Dexter has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors Association academic all-district team announced the organization Thursday. Recently completing her third season on the Yellowjacket women’s golf team, Dexter had the highest GPA in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference to earn academic all-league honors for the second straight year earlier this spring. “Bailee is very deserving of this wonderful honor,” said MSUB head coach Kevin Woodin. “She works very hard at her studies and understands how to effectively balance golf and academics. She should be very proud.”

Dexter was the second-leading golfer on MSUB’s squad this season, posting a scoring average of 79.47 over 17 rounds. She twice matched her career low-round score with a 74, and her personal best was a two-round total of 150 at the Rocky Mountain College fall invitational last October. A native of Townsend, Mont., Dexter was also inducted into MSUB’s Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society this year for carrying a GPA north of 3.40 while competing in a collegiate sport.
