She is also very committed to her school work, and we are glad that she will be joining our Yellowjacket family.” Farris on choosing MSUB: “Coach Krakowiak said he wanted me to play for his team, and this was just an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Montana is beautiful, the people are amazing, the campus is gorgeous, and I am excited to be welcomed into a community of people who love doing what I love: Playing soccer.” Kylee Inman-Wolfe Soldotna, Alaska Soldotna High School/Highline College 5’7” – Defender Intended Major: Criminal Justice In her first season at Highline College (Wash.), Inman-Wolfe helped the Thunderbirds to the Northwest Athletic Conference west division title. Participating in soccer for four seasons under head coach Jimmy Love, Inman-Wolfe helped Soldotna High to a cumulative conference record of 62-2-3 in her prep career. She was a second-team all-NLC pick as a freshman, before earning first-team all-league honors in each of the next three seasons. Inman-Wolfe capped her career with the Stars by earning conference Player of the Year honors, after being named her team’s MVP in her sophomore through senior seasons. Her team won region titles and placed third in the state tournament in three of the four seasons she played. Coach Krakowiak on Inman-Wolfe: “Kylee is a dynamic defender who has the ability to push forward and be dangerous attacking in the final third. She is a physical player who can win tackles and keep possession of the ball. Kylee is coming off of a very successful year at Highline, and we are really excited that she chose MSUB.” Katelynn Kerkvliet Soldotna, Alaska Soldotna High School/University of Mary 6’1” – Goalkeeper Intended Major: Healthcare Administration/Business Management Beginning her college athletic career at the University of Mary on the women’s basketball team, Kerkvliet saw action in six games as a true freshman during the 2014-15 season. Kayce Moore Livingston, Montana Park High School 5’3” – Midfielder/Defender Intended Major: Physical Therapy A three-year letterwinner under head coach Matt Dettori, Moore will reconnect with former teammate and current Yellowjacket sophomore Jordan Devoto in the fall with MSUB. Playing several different roles around the pitch, Moore earned all-conference honors as well as the Coaches’ Choice Award as a central midfielder, defender, and outside wing player. Coach Krakowiak on Moore: “I like Kayce’s quickness, aggressiveness, and ability to take players on. We always like players who are not afraid to dribble, keep possession, and take calculated risks. She will provide depth in our midfield and attacking areas, and it is great that she can play multiple positions on the field. I got to know Kayce during our overnight camp, and her kindness will fit in great with our team’s personalities as well.” Moore on choosing MSUB: “My interest in MSUB sparked when I attended a soccer game in Billings to support my former teammate. It has always been my dream to compete in collegiate soccer, and hearing all about it from my friend on the Yellowjackets’ team made it seem closer to a reality. I chose MSUB not only because of the soccer program but because of its location in regards to my hometown. As well as the athletics and location, MSUB also offers opportunities for pursuing a career in physical therapy.” The Yellowjackets take on Rocky Mountain College in Billings on Aug. 20 in their first exhibition match. The team’s first regular-season match is set for Sept. 1 at Colorado Christian, and MSUB opens its 2016 home season at Yellowjacket Field on Sept. 8 against San Francisco State University. --@MSUBSports | #JacketNation--
