Displaying excellent sportsmanship throughout the 2015 season, MSUB’s women’s soccer team is rewarded with the team ethics award from the NSCAA. BILLINGS, Mont. – Collecting just five yellow cards and no red cards in 17 games, the Montana State University Billings women’s soccer team earned the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the 2015 season. MSUB was one of just 43 colleges at all levels and divisions in the nation to receive the Silver Award, and was the only school in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference to be recognized at any level of the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award. “I am really proud of the team for receiving this award,” said MSUB head coach Wojtek Krakowiak. “Tons of credit goes to the team for being competitive on the field and knowing how to win the right way. In our program, it is very important to show great sportsmanship to opponents, referees, and our community. This is a great tradition and we are very honored to receive this award.”
