MSUB’s women’s soccer team takes on No. 2 Western Washington in the opening round of the GNAC Championships kicking off at 8 p.m. Mountain time Thursday evening. BURNABY, B.C. – The stage is set for the 2015 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championships, as No. 4 seed Montana State University Billings will take on No. 1 seed Western Washington University on Thursday evening at Terry Fox Field on the campus of Simon Fraser University. Kickoff between the Vikings and Yellowjackets is set for 8 p.m. Mountain time. Live video and statistics will be available for Saturday’s match via the GNAC’s Stretch Internet portal here. Tickets to attend the event are available for online purchase, and can be purchased at the gate with cash only (U.S. and Canadian currency accepted). MSUB’s match will be the second of the day, as No. 2 seed Concordia University will battle No. 3 seed Seattle Pacific in the first game at 5 p.m. Mountain time. The two winners on Thursday will meet in the championship match on Saturday and fight to earn an automatic berth into the 2015 NCAA Division II West Region Championships beginning next weekend.
