GRANTHAM HALL Learning Communities ▸ Economics, Law, Politics, Pre-Law: Live with other students who are passionate about learning about economics, government processes, public processes, or interested in working in the field of law. You will connect with faculty and local leaders within the community to ensure your experience at MSUM is setting you up for success in the workplace or help you as you enter law school. ▸ Exploration: The goal of the Exploration LC is to align undecided students with a major that is offered at MSUM so you can declare a major and be on your way to earning your desired degree! This community will help you discover your strengths and passions, as well as gain knowledge and assistance to help select a major that best fits your talents and aspirations. ▸ Global Connections: In this diverse community you will gain cultural awareness by living with and taking classes with a large number of international students studying at MSUM. You can showcase American culture with international students who are experiencing the U.S. for the first time and also learn about MSUM’s study abroad options. ▸ Leadership: The Leadership Learning Community will provide you the opportunity to develop leadership skills through personal exploration and reflection as you work to define your leadership style. During the fall semester, LC students will learn about various ways to become involved on campus and during the spring semester students will participate in the Emerging Leaders program, an eight-week leadership seminar. ▸ Speech Language Hearing Sciences: This community provides Speech Language Hearing Science majors with opportunities to connect with faculty, interact with professionals in the field within the Fargo Moorhead Community, and be part of the activities of MSUM Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
