Dear Members: As you know, the COVID pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges as it relates to youth soccer across Michigan. MSYSA continues to work with the University of Michigan School of Public Health (UMSPH) on risk mitigation and our return-to-play (RTP) guidelines. MSYSA acknowledges and appreciates your continued compliance with the many requirements implemented to reduce the risk of COVID exposure. Despite the obstacles, we’ve proven, collectively, we can conduct youth soccer safely and what we are doing works. Unfortunately, the COVID virus, and its associated variants, are still present. Please continue to comply with our RTP guidelines. In particular, participants should stay home if they are sick. In addition, participants with known COVID exposure, or participants experiencing COVID symptoms, are not to participate and should be instructed to contact their healthcare provider(s) as soon as possible. MSYSA recognizes that try-outs are an important time for players, parents and guardians. As you prepare for this year’s try-outs, MSYSA encourages you to carefully read and review our rules as it pertains to this year’s try-outs. Also, please know that try-outs may not take place prior to Saturday, June 12, 2021. Fall 2021 / Spring 2022 Select Tryouts Sat, June 12 & Sun, June 13 Location: Bosco Fields (47481 Eleven Mile Road, Novi) Annual price: $349 per Novi resident & $399 per non-resident (The price includes both the Fall & Spring seasons, uniform sold separately)
High competition without the sky-high costs! Teams practice twice weekly with eight games each season.
Each age division will have approximately 90 minutes on both Saturday & Sunday to run a tryout. Specific division tryout times are yet to be determined and will be posted on the website. Players should plan to be at all tryouts for their age group, as some teams will be formed Saturday with the expectation of all teams being finalized on Sunday. If you do not attend the first tryout date on Saturday, there is a risk that the team roster will be filled at that time. Players must pre-register (no cost) for WSSL Select Soccer Tryouts - NPSC Lightning at:
