TODAY’S PANELISTS ANITA ANTENUCCI Houlihan Lokey Anita Antenucci is a senior managing director in Houlihan Lokey’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. With 17 years of investment banking experience including mergers, acquisitions, financing and valuation, she leads the firm’s Aerospace Defense Government Group. Previously, she served as the copresident and managing director of Quarterdeck Investment Partners, a boutique M&A advisor to the aerospace, defense and government services industries. She held these and other roles at the firm and its predecessor company from its founding until 2002. Antenucci is on the executive committee of the Board of Trustees of the Shakespeare Theatre Company. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Space Foundation, the Board of the National Guard Youth Foundation and the NGYF Youth Challenge Corporate Advisory Board. She holds degrees from the School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University and from Northwestern University.

ROBERT P. CIESLA Boeing Bob Ciesla is Vice President and Program Manager for the C-17 Globemaster III program, at Boeing in Long Beach, CA. He is responsible for business, technical, production and support operations delivered to domestic and international military customers. Previously, he was deputy program manager for the C-17 program. Ciesla has more than 24 years of engineering and management experience at Boeing, including flight test and design engineering and project management. He serves on a number of non-profit and business-focused boards including the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from St. Louis University, a master’s degree in management from Polytechnic Institute of New York University and doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University. He also completed Boeing’s Program Management development program.and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

CHERYL WADESON United Airlines Cheryl Wadeson is a director of regional sales at United Airlines where she leads a team responsible for $500 million in sales. Prior to joining United in 2007, Wadeson served in various sales management positions with Northwest Airlines. Wadeson previously served with several healthcare organizations in Southern California, including Aetna Health Plan, Lakeside Healthcare, and as director of professional services at SMBP Healthcare/Saint John’s Health Center. Wadeson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.


TODAY’S PANELISTS KEN GUSS Klune Industries Ken Guss is president of Klune Industries, which is owned by the private equity firm Vance Street Capital. Guss has over 20 years of executive-level leadership including the general management of three Fortune 500 companies and the chief executive role for 10 divisions of a publicly traded company in London. Prior to joining Klune in March 2011, he was group president and general manager of Meggitt Fluid Controls, a $300 million group of companies in the U.S. and Europe. Guss’ background includes the leadership of both public and private international companies in complex manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance, repair and operations in both the commercial and military markets. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, Calif.

TODAY’S MODERATOR DALE E. WALLIS The Aerospace Corporation Dale Wallis recently retired as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of The Aerospace Corporation. Wallis was responsible for finance, budgeting, contract administration, procurement, treasury and risk management. Before joining Aerospace in 1997, Wallis was vice president of administration and chief financial officer for COMPS Infosystems, Inc. and was director of finance for Mycogen Corporation. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at Ernst & Young and KPMG. Wallis is currently on the board of directors of Financial Executives International and serves on both the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Business at Loyola Marymount University and the Hills. He is an adjunct professor of accounting at the University of Southern California and was formerly a member of the faculty at East Central University. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Business at California State University, Dominguez.
