TODAY’S PANELISTS John E. Mack III Imperial Capital, LLC John E. Mack III is Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Investment Banking and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Imperial Capital. Mr. Mack joined Imperial Capital in 2008 as part of the firm’s acquisition of certain assets of USBX Inc., an investment banking firm focused on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Mack was founder and Chief Executive Officer of USBX. Prior to USBX, Mr. Mack served as the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Protection One, Inc., then the nation’s second largest provider of life safety and property monitoring services. Mr. Mack was involved in over 200 acquisitions and oversaw the company’s growth from approximately 30,000 subscribers and $17 million in revenue to more than 1.6 million subscribers, $600 million in revenue and an enterprise value of over $2 billion.

W. Michael Rosenberg Intrepid Investment Bankers LLC Mike Rosenberg is the Chief Executive Officer and cofounder of Intrepid Investment Bankers LLC. Most recently he was Co-Head of the Middle Market Group (“MMG”) of Investment Banking and Capital Markets (“IBCM”) for Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. In that position, he served on IBCM’s Operating, Commitment and Fairness Opinion committees. Mr. Rosenberg has spent more than 26 years in investment banking and corporate finance, assisting corporate clients in achieving their financial and strategic objectives. Mr. Rosenberg has been the senior advisor in numerous prominent middle market transactions. Some of the transactions in which he has acted in such capacity include the take-private of Herbalife International Inc., the sale of Pacific Architects and Engineers, Inc. to Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT), the sale of Wickes Furniture, Inc. to Sun Capital, LAK Acquisition Corp.’s sale of the Los Angeles Kings Hockey Team, the merger of Dakin, Inc. with Applause Enterprises, Inc. and the merger of Smith+Noble LLC with Cornerstone Brands, Inc. Mr. Rosenberg graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. degree in Economics. In addition, he holds an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School.

Prior to being appointed to his current role in 2012, Mr. McCarrick served as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Finance for GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services (HFS), a premier provider of financing to the healthcare industry with focus areas in Corporate Finance, Real Estate, Life Sciences and Equipment Finance. Bob McCarrick has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. Mr. McCarrick currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
