TODAY’S PANELISTS Bob Bellack Newegg North America As CEO of Newegg North America, Mr. Bellack is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company’s North American operations. He joined Newegg in 2011 to focus on developing the company’s growth strategies, which include leveraging and enhancing Newegg’s world class e-commerce platform, broadening product lines and driving greater customer engagement. Prior to joining Newegg, Mr. Bellack spent more than 20 years in media, most recently with Tribune Company where he held several senior roles across all major media segments, including print, broadcast and digital media. Most notably, Mr. Bellack was the president of digital media and CFO for the Los Angeles Times Media Group. Mr. Bellack was also a founder of Classified Ventures, an online classified advertising publisher serving automotive and real estate markets. Mr. Bellack later served as Classified Ventures’ SVP and CFO, where he played an instrumental role in developing the company’s primary website properties, Cars.com and Apartments.com, into the market leaders of their respective categories today. Mr. Bellack holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University.
Kevin Mannion Young’s Market Company Kevin Manion is the Chief Financial Officer for Young’s Market Company and Young’s Holdings, Inc. Young’s Market Company is a $2.7Billion, 125 year, family owned distributor of wine and liquor servicing the happiness needs of the Western United States. Young’s Holdings is the family business office which includes liquor distributorships, minority private equity investments and real estate holdings. Prior to Young’s, Kevin has been the interim CFO for Hostess Brands; Bolthouse Farms, a produce and beverage company (sold to Campbell Soup); EBS Dealing Resources, a financial services company (sold to ICAP, Plc); Synapse, a direct marketing company (sold to Time, Inc.); Aimcor, a chemical distributor (sold to KKR); Nestle USA as Corporate Controller and CFO for the ice cream, water and pet food businesses. Kevin is a CPA, Certified Treasury Professional, Certified Production and Inventory Control Manager, Certified in Investor Relations and Certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame.
Deborah Siegel GUESS?, Inc. Deborah Siegel is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Guess? Inc. (NYSE:GES), a global lifestyle apparel and accessories company. Ms. Siegel has been with the company since June of 2000. She is responsible for all aspects of Guess legal affairs worldwide. She also is head of the Guess North American real estate department which includes managing a portfolio of over 400 stores. In her capacity, Ms. Siegel has significant involvement with the Company’s licensing business. Ms. Siegel started her career in 1988 with Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles. In 1992, she joined one of the largest licensees of Guess (children’s apparel) as its General Counsel and spent seven years there. A Maryland native, Ms. Siegel received her law degree from the New York University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Tulane University, summa cum laude.
TODAY’S PANELISTS James Williams Planet Blue James Williams is the CEO of Planet Blue. James previously served as Planet Blue’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. Since joining the Company in 2007, James has overseen the launch of two Planet Blue wholesale businesses, the Company’s e-commerce site (which now sells to more than 150 countries) and a 12-store international joint venture with one of Japan’s most established fashion companies. Prior to joining Planet Blue, James was a Partner at Loeb and Loeb and chaired the firm-wide Fashion and Luxury Brand practice group, managing a team of attorneys in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Previous to his work at Loeb, James was a Partner and Chair of the Fashion practice group for the nation’s pre-eminent music law firm, Davis and Shapiro (founded and managed by Fred Davis, son of music legend Clive Davis). James began his legal career at Murchison and Cumming in Los Angeles where he went on to become one the youngest partners in the firm’s 80+ year history and the youngest department chair. James was recognized twice as a California Super Lawyer prior to leaving private practice (2005 and 2006) and he is an advisory board member of the National Retail Federation’s General Counsel Forum as well as Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer foundation. James received his B.A. in Classics from the University of California, Riverside and his J.D. from Southwestern.
TODAY’S MODERATOR Margaret Shanley Duff & Phelps Margaret Shanley is a Managing Director in the Century City office of Duff & Phelps (D&P), LLC and co-leads the West Coast Transaction Advisory Services Practice. Margaret’s primary focus is Consumer & Retail transactions and she is a leading member of the Consumer & Retail Group at D&P.
