DIY Bath Bombs The best gifts are ones made with love. So why not follow these simple instructions and let your loved one enjoy a little relaxation time. 1 ½ cups McKenzie's Bi-Carb Soda ½ cup McKenzie's Citric Acid Potpourri Sweet almond oil (from chemist) Essential oil, such as lavender or orange Food colouring (optional) Moulds – see tips for options
• The more simple the shape of the mould, the easier it will be to remove Makes 4 bath bombs (depending on size of the the bath bomb. mould) • Be creative with colours, combine red and yellow food colouring for an orange Step 1 - Sieve together the McKenzie's Bi-Carb Soda bath bomb and blue with a little red for a and the McKenzie's Citric Acid in a large mixing bowl, lavender bath bomb. then add pot pourri. • Hot water activates the fizz in the bombs - cold water doesn't work. Step 2 - In a small bowl, combine 6 drops of your chosen essential oil with 1/2 teaspoon of sweet almond oil and food colouring as you desire. Step 3 – Take 1/2 cup of dry mix and stir in the oil mixture slowly so things don't start fizzing! Step 4 - Wearing rubber gloves, work the oil mixture into the dry ingredients with your fingertips until it stays compressed when squeezed. Step 5 - Wipe a little sweet almond oil inside the mould and fill with the mixture, packing in firmly. Repeat from Step 2 to make your other bath bombs and leave to set for 24-36 hours before removing from mould. Tips • If you don’t have any pot pourri, use the contents of a herbal teabag such as chamomile, lemon or peppermint. • If you don’t have any sweet almond oil, light vegetable oil will work. • You can purchase moulds from craft shops or you can use items that might be around the house, such as jelly moulds, decorative ice cube containers, muffin tins, patty pans or any plastic container that will hold a shape.

Add the chopped tomatoes, Serves 4 Difficulty: Medium Ingredients 1tbspoliveoil 1 clove of garlic, crushed 1 chorizo sausage, diced 1 tin of chopped tomatoes 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup Anathoth Farm Sweet Chilli Relish, plus extra to serve Salt and pepper 1 tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed 4 eggs 50g Feta, crumbled Grainy toast and basil, to serve Method 1. Preheat oven to 170C (150 fanforced). 2. Add olive oil into a pan and sautĂŠ chopped garlic until fragrant. Add in the diced chorizo, and cook for 2 minutes, until lightly browned.

balsamic vinegar and Anathoth Farm Sweet Chilli Relish. Season with salt and pepper. Add the beans and cook for about 5 minutes until heated through. Divide into 4 single serve, oven proof dishes. Crack an egg on top, sprinkle with feta and bake for 8-10 minutes for medium to runny eggs. Remove from the oven, top with dollops of Anathoth Farm Sweet Chilli Relish, fresh basil and serve with grainy toast.
