Recent projects include the Vanquish S Red Arrow Edition, which paired these two iconic names to celebrate British engineering. Our latest edition will see us once again honouring history while driving into the future. Inspired by the styling and detail of Aston Martin’s DBR1, our first model to win Le Mans, the DBS 59 promises to be every bit as special.
DBS 59 | A CELEBRATORY LIMITED EDITION
Aston Martin Cambridge have partnered with Q by Aston Martin to deliver another stunning limited edition. In 1959, the DBR1 joined a very select club of cars to win both the World Sports Car Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year. The essence and style of these iconic wins have been distilled into the DBS 59.
LIMITED EDITION, UNLIMITED STYLE Aston Martin Cambridge have a great track record of delivering highly successful, sought-after limited editions. Available exclusively from Aston Martin Cambridge, the latest model is based on the new DBS Superleggera – with design and styling cues taken from the legendary DBR1. The DBR 1 was the first Aston Martin to win Le Mans, with a 1-2 finish in 1959. And such a glorious result could not go without a celebratory event to mark the 60 year anniversary. In homage to that historic result, only 24 DBS 59 models will be produced – one for each hour of the infamous race’s duration – with the handover taking place at the Le Mans Curcuit.
A UNIQUE EVENT To honour the heritage which inspired them, these cars will be handed over next year at a truly unique event encompassing three-and-a-half days of Aston Martin racing heritage.
