The Updesh Saar (or Updes Saaram) of Raman Maharshi is a gem of spiritual texts. The Vedantic knowledge is presented concisely and crisply in just 30 verses leading to supreme reality. The expounded text is available on web in many Indian languages, except Gujarati. However in print, Swami Tadrupanandajee (Manan Ashram, Near Nilkantheshwar, Bharuch, Gujarat) has written a small book nicely explaining each verse, with befitting examples and references from Upanishads and Geeta. This is a rare book for Gujarati readers. Here it is presented as excerpt - one page explanation for each verse in Gujarati, just as an effort to introduce the topic to Gujarati readers.
