Müpa Budapest has a vitally important mission to participate in the education of future generations of concert-goers. Consequently, the institution has continuously expanded its range of regular programming aimed at children and young people over the years, thus creating a broad spectrum of events to appeal to every age group. Within the framework of various youth programmes gathered under the umbrella title of Müpa Junior, Müpa Budapest patrons will find not only children’s concerts but also a variety of activities built on interactive participation in a variety of genres and geared to a range of different age groups. Children will also have numerous other opportunities and occasions to visit Müpa Budapest to get close to the world of sounds, musical instruments and diverse musical genres — whether accompanied by their parents, grandparents or in school groups. Children can attend the Baby Concerts almost from the moment of their birth, the Sing-along Baby and Busy with Music series are aimed at toddlers, the Mini Matinées and various interactive activities are recommended for nursery school children, while the Matinée Concerts, Schools Concerts and Instru-mentor events are especially for schoolchildren.
