Tacoma-based auctioneer Laura Michalek has an eclectic background, including time spent as the owner of vintage modern furniture stores in Seattle. She was the youngest winner in the history of the Chicago Marathon, completing the feat at 15. She now channels that drive into helping non-profits meet their fundraising goals.
HEATHER CORNELIUS After Party Emcee Heather Cornelius is an independent artist teaching and creating ceramic art in Tacoma. Her goal is to transform the everyday experience by reimagining mundane, manufactured items into quality objects containing energy and identity that can last a lifetime.
KATIE BUCKINGHAM Auction Emcee
Katie Buckingham is a curator at Museum of Glass and would argue that she has one of the best jobs at MOG—developing exhibitions, researching collections, and coordinating the Visiting Artist Residency Program. She supports our local museum community as the President of the Washington Museum Association.
