elcome, and thank you for picking up our 2019 Guide to a Cornish Christmas! A guide that, we hope, will enable you to get the very most, and enjoy the very best, of Christmas in Cornwall. For us, Christmas is about supporting one another, from friends and family to local businesses and community groups, and one way to do that is by shopping local, whether you’re wandering a twinkling, tree lit cobbled street or browsing in your local area online, find something for someone you love, from a small business that will really appreciate it. With our guide, we’ve made the task a little easier, by combining creative, community events such as festive craft workshops, Christmas markets, Santa meet and greets and light switch-ons with a selection of some of Cornwall’s best independent retailers, from jewellery, ceramics and clothing, to homeware, food and drink. Discover local makers with stories to tell at harbour town fairs, indulge in award-winning Cornish food and drink and celebrate in style as Cornwall comes alive with festive spirit and merriment.
