Is reciting your affirmations each day enough? I'm a huge fan of Hal Elrod, Author of The Miracle Morning. I study and listen to his Achieving Your Goals Podcasts. In Podcast #286, Hal interviewed Dr. Shannon Irvine. Dr Shannon has a Ph.D. in neuropsychology, is an entrepreneur, high achievement mentor. In this episode she teaches us how to neuro-hack our success and build epic lives and businesses we love – by harnessing our brain power to hardwire productivity, goal attainment, and mindset mastery. Hal writes "I’m a huge believer in (re)conditioning our brains and using simple, proven methods to instill the beliefs and emotions that will best serve us. Shannon brings a scientific approach to how we can instill these beliefs and emotions. Highlights of what Lena & Steve were talking about in the above interview??? The DISC Profile: Lena mentioned that I tend to begin my coaching with agents by tapping into the DISC Assessment that the office uses. I do this at one of the very first meeting with an agent. Remember, a DISC isn't something that you pass or fail...it is just a way for you to learn a little bit more about yourself, and at the same time, learn how to best interact with others. The DISC is interesting from the standpoint that you get to see if you're a high C or D. In coaching, we role play how to identify personalities quickly when meeting people and how to mirror them so that you have a higher success rate. The DISC coaching session will also often times identify strengths you may have as an agent, and places that you may be best to focus on for prospecting and deepening relationships with your current and growing SOI (sphere of influence). Many agents find some very big "Aha" moments from this first DISC discussion.

Events & Other Brainstorming Ideas Each agent has their own personality, and I try to mold my coaching to fit their style. In the early stages of coaching, I help them identify their “3-Legged Stool� which will act as the pillars in their real estate business. Based on their passions and many times on their current hobbies, I help them brainstorm where they can best connect with their database and grow their business. Steve mentioned in the above interview that he gets a lot of momentum out of the ideas he and I come up with. A current group event we are working on in Tier 3 Group Coaching is our Fall Planter Make & Take event that is planned for November 9th. Most of the agents that are in Tier 3 Group Coaching with me are planning to participate in this. It is a Standard in my Coaching that all agents in Tier 3 Group Coaching do some type of Fall event. A few agents are planning a brewery get together, or something similar. No matter if they are participating with the group or doing their own style event, these agents are all learning that the event isn't really the big deal...its about having an event for all the reasons to reach out to their database!!!
